Student answer (Band 5.5)
In todays modern ers there is no doubt that girls are becoimg equally qualified as boys therfore their parents are sending them to those scools where boys are already in so that they can feel comfortable as well as confident.yet some people do not like this modern idiology and they against it .however according to my perspective the advandges of attending co educational or mixed schools are way higher than learning separately.i will give my reasons to prove it followed by conclusion.
first and foremost reason could be confidence .to make it more clear if girls and boys are attending same schools then they will feel comfortable of being around each other, not only this they also learn some manners for showing respect to each other for example In has proven by resarchers that mixing boys and girls into same school bring out their confidence they will not feel uncomfortable being around opposite gender while working in future.
moving furthermore, mixing them in same school they can know how to coopearte with others for example it has seen that boys are good in sports as compare to girls, whereas girls are excellent in study as compare to boys ,hence they can help each other how to improve them selves after taking advice from each other.for instance i have expericend this thing while studying in school ,being a girl i dd not know any thing about gym and some sort of sports after taking advice from my male bestfriends i got to knoew abot them and felt over the moon.
in conclusion taking al these things into consideartion it can be said taht mixing them into single schools has more benefits ,therefore i disagree with those who are saying that they shhould learn seprately.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The candidate addresses the prompt by expressing a clear position against single-sex schools and in favour of co-educational environments. Relevant ideas are introduced, such as the development of social confidence and the mutual academic and practical benefits of boys and girls interacting. However, the development of these ideas remains somewhat superficial and lacks full extension. For instance, the point regarding sports and academic strengths is introduced but supported only by a very general personal anecdote rather than fully elaborated arguments. Furthermore, there are minor lapses in addressing the prompt's nuances comprehensively. Overall, the task is addressed adequately, fitting the criteria for Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The response has an overall coherent arrangement, opening with a basic introduction and utilizing cohesive markers such as 'first and foremost', 'moving furthermore', and 'in conclusion'. Paragraphing is attempted, though paragraph breaks are occasionally erratic or poorly signaled by punctuation and capitalization issues (e.g., lowercase letters at the start of sentences like 'i will give...'). Referencing and cohesive devices are sometimes mechanical or faulty, and logical progression within body paragraphs occasionally stumbles due to run-on structures and lack of proper punctuation. Despite these mechanical flaws, the text presents a discernible overall progression of ideas, aligning well with a Band 5.5 or 6.0 descriptor. Band 5.5 reflects the frequent mechanical cohesion issues.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student demonstrates an adequate vocabulary for the task, successfully communicating everyday concepts with terms like 'co-educational', 'confident', 'cooperate', and 'researchers'. There are, however, frequent spelling errors ('todays', 'ers', 'becoimg', 'therfore', 'scools', 'idiology', 'advandges', 'coopearte', 'expericend', 'knoew', 'taht', 'seprately') and word choice inaccuracies ('mixing boys and girls into same school'). These errors do not entirely impede communication, as the general meaning remains clear, but they restrict the lexical score. The range is minimally adequate with clear attempts at less common vocabulary, placing it solidly at Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control over basic punctuation and grammar is weak. There is a complete absence of capital letters for the pronoun 'I' and at the beginning of sentences, along with numerous run-on sentences connected improperly by commas rather than full stops or conjunctions (e.g., 'yet some people do not like this modern idiology and they against it .however according to my perspective...'). While some complex forms are attempted, they are frequently flawed by agreement errors and missing auxiliary verbs (e.g., 'In has proven by resarchers'). The frequency of grammatical and punctuation errors causes some difficulty for the reader, fitting the Band 5.0 descriptors.
