Student answer (Band 4.5)

In modern era boys and girls are equally elligible for getting education. In different area of the world pupils are educated together in unisex or mixed schools. However, many humankind think that educate both gender separatly in single-sex school. As per my opinion, I disagree with the second statement. Both the views are metioned in upcoming paragraph with examples.

On the one hand, many people think that both genders have equally contributed in every field this happened due to good education gave to both genders throgh the years. Moreover, in most of the countries both boys and girls get the education under one roof because of this action they get get jobs with same knowladge and skills. In addition, if they get education together they can help each other and clear their doughts. For instantce, many schools organize some compition for both genders students interection which help to create healthy compition between them and students think they have became first which improve their knowladge, skills and way of thinking.

On the other hand, many mankind think differently, according to them students do not have to study underh one roof because, they think that boys get attrected by girls and distrated from their goals, same problem happens with girls. Many people think that girls are not that much able to get to get achivements like boys. Furthermore, females

As per my opinion, I totally disagree second statement due to better education many girls and boys became more successful in many fields like bussiness, engineering, research and many more. If they don't study together they will not talk and this cause they are not able to communicate with the opposite gender because of hesitation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the issue of single-sex versus co-educational schooling and clearly states a personal position of disagreement with single-sex education. However, the development of ideas is limited and sometimes repetitive. The introduction outlines the topic, and the body paragraphs attempt to provide reasons, such as socialization and career preparation. For instance, the second paragraph mentions how studying together helps students collaborate and build communication skills. Nonetheless, some arguments are under-developed, and the final paragraph trails off incomplete ("Furthermore, females..."), which impacts overall task completion. The ideas are relevant, but greater depth of explanation and fully formed supporting examples would be required to reach a higher band. Consequently, the performance aligns best with band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into distinct paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a brief conclusion. However, the logical progression is hindered by awkward transitions and incomplete thoughts, particularly near the end. Cohesive devices such as "On the one hand," "Moreover," and "In addition" are used to link sentences, but referencing is occasionally unclear (e.g., "because of this action they get get jobs"). Paragraphing is attempted, but the final body section feels disjointed and unfinished. Overall arrangement shows some organization, but lapses in cohesion and unclear referencing place this response firmly at a band 5.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, with several spelling and word-choice errors that impede understanding at times. Examples of errors include "elligible" instead of "eligible", "humankind" used to mean humans or people, "throgh" instead of "through", "doughts" instead of "doubts", "compition" instead of "competition", "interection" instead of "interaction", and "attrected" instead of "attracted". While the student attempts some less common terms like "communication" and "collaboration equivalents", the high frequency of lexical and spelling errors means the vocabulary is minimally adequate for the task, fitting the band 4.0 descriptors closely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The response displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, with frequent errors in sentence construction, tense consistency, and punctuation. Many sentences are simple or marred by run-on structures, such as "In modern era boys and girls are equally elligible for getting education." and "If they don't study together they will not talk and this cause they are not able to communicate with the opposite gender because of hesitation." Frequent errors in subject-verb agreement and article usage are present throughout the text. Additionally, the final sentence is incomplete. These persistent errors cause noticeable difficulty for the reader, placing the grammar score at band 4.0.
