Student answer (Band 5.0)
Education plays a vital role in everyone's life. It helps to brighten the future and lighten the situation. Although, youngsters choose study together in mixed institutions in numerous nations, few institutions believe that girls and boys advantage from being educated separately in single - sex educational centres. In my opinion, I disagree with this statement.
Several benefits of co-education. First of all, it helps to develop confidence because when boys and girls read in same school, then they improve their confidence due to performance in the competitions which are organised in schools. Additionally, it also improves the living style since both boys and girls learn about how to live in front of others and how to communicate to each other.
Moving further, girls helps the boys in study to understand any difficult problem as they are intelligent than boys because they can easily learn things. Furthermore, it is not only enhance the social and moral values, but it also improves the abilities related to physical activities.
On the other hand , separated educational centre has some merits. Like , girls have no fear of boys because in these days rape cases are inclined day by day . In this way , girls are not move independently anywhere. So , if separated schools are opened , then girls are not scared from boys and give attention in their study .
To conclude, it is paramount to educate scholars in same institutions due to its benefits because it enhance the overall personality of students.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the co-educational and single-sex schooling debate and clearly states a personal position against single-sex schools. However, the development of ideas is limited and at times superficial. For example, the argument that 'girls helps the boys in study' because they are 'intelligent than boys' is simplistic and lacks strong elaboration. Similarly, the counterargument regarding safety is introduced abruptly without deep exploration. While all parts of the task are addressed, the support remains somewhat underdeveloped and relies on general assertions, placing it solidly in the band 5 territory.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays some overall organization with recognizable introduction, body, and conclusion paragraphs. However, progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and poor logical flow. For instance, the sentence 'Several benefits of co-education' is a fragment rather than a fully realized topic sentence. Cohesive devices are often used inaccurately or mechanically, such as 'Moving further' and 'Like'. Furthermore, referencing and paragraph structures lack clarity, with single-sentence paragraphs appearing frequently, which prevents a smooth reading experience and indicates weaknesses in organizational control.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is generally basic and repetitive, struggling to meet the demands of an academic task. Phrases like 'brighten the future and lighten the situation' and 'living style' are unnatural and imprecise. There are noticeable word choice and collocation errors throughout the text, such as 'choose study together' instead of 'choose to study together' and 'read in same school' instead of 'study in the same school'. While the meaning is mostly decipherable, the limited and frequently inaccurate lexical range constrains the overall effectiveness of communication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student uses a limited range of sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are persistent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('girls helps the boys'), missing prepositions, and incorrect comparative forms ('intelligent than boys'). Punctuation is also problematic, marked by spaces before commas ('On the other hand ,') and misuse of hyphens. These frequent errors cause difficulty for the reader and demonstrate a lack of control over more advanced grammatical structures.
