Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, some school provides both genders to educate students. However, some people belive that girls and boys benefit from being educated separetly in single-sex schools. This essay will provide both advantages and disadvatages of that before provide my option. To both have equally beneficial to study in mixed school or single-sex schools.
On the one hand, people who believe that students should learn from co-educational or mixed schools have better essential life learning lession. This is because, students can understand and respect each other genders as well as maintain society. For instance, in Japan now introduced a rule, in that rule students can learn subjects together both genders. Apart from that , schools support tto students to talk with cross genders. Which is lead to life learning lesson to bring towards better society.
On the other hand, some individuals believe that students should learn from single-sex schools. They have focus on their career as well future study, rather than spend time to talk witch cross-genders. Which is lead to excessive talk or nudity in early age. For example, in North korea, students must learn separtely in single-sex schools because studentds can focus on their future study. It is beneficial for society and the government to have bright and focus oriented students.
To conclude, I firmly believe that both points have equal rights and parents have choose to prefer, which school their children should learn. Both education system have own advantages and disadvantages to learn from schools. Personally, I believe students should educate from mixed schools because of they can learn and respect each other.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the issue regarding co-educational and single-sex schools and presents a personal opinion in the conclusion. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive. Phrases like "This essay will provide both advantages and disadvatages of that before provide my option" reflect a template-driven approach rather than fully elaborated arguments. Furthermore, the position in the introduction is slightly confused ('To both have equally beneficial to study in mixed school or single-sex schools'). While all parts of the task are touched upon, the lack of thorough elaboration and some imprecision in stating the position places this response at Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into four paragraphs with a clear introduction and conclusion, demonstrating some overall structure. Cohesive devices are used to signal transitions, such as 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand'. However, referencing and cohesion are frequently faulty or mechanical, as seen in problematic linking like 'Which is lead to life learning lesson' and disjointed sentence fragments. Paragraphing is present, but internal logical progression is often hindered by grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, resulting in a Band 5.0 performance.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with noticeable errors that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. There are frequent spelling mistakes, including 'belive' for believe, 'separetly' for separately, 'disadvatages' for disadvantages, and 'option' for opinion. Attempts at less common vocabulary lead to awkward collocations or incorrect forms, such as 'cross genders' instead of 'the opposite sex' or 'cross-gender interaction'. Because the range is limited and spelling/word-choice errors are noticeable, a Band 5.0 is appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'some school provides', 'before provide my option', 'support tto students', and 'parents have choose to prefer'. Many complex structures are faulty, particularly relative clauses and participial phrases beginning with 'Which is lead to...'. While simple sentences are generally understandable, frequent errors in grammar and punctuation cause strain for the reader, fitting the Band 5.0 criteria.
