Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays numerous part of the earth boys and girls are educated together in co-educational or mixed schools. some individuals think that girls and boys advantage from being educated divided in single-sex schools. I agree with this because people can learn new academic subjects by single- sex schools.
Firstly, many schools people are studying in co-educational because in past days there is no combined eovt ducations. nowadays many parents are thinking there children study at separate schools. For example, recently my cousin brother studying inter 2nd year in boys college and he is a topper from that college. He score high marks in final exams and got a award. As a result those who are studghools don't study in co-education beacuse students can't concentration on studies.
Secondly, on these days girls have more adavantageous that boys beacuse school chidren are studying in public authorities there are providing girls campus for education. Governments providing meals and tiffins to students. For instance, few days back i went to mahatma gandhi hostel total 8000 girls are located and the government providing studies and food to children. As a result, girls have more priority than boys and further days boys want high priority than girls.
In conclusion, i agree with this statement and they both have their reasons and people want to study in separate schools beacuse they gain more knowledge from academic subjects. In my way people learn good things and rectify there mistakes in his own way.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt regarding single-sex versus co-educational schools, taking a position in agreement with single-sex education. However, the development of ideas is weak, confused, and largely irrelevant in places, such as discussing government meals in hostels. Furthermore, the response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, coming in at 244 words, which incurs a penalty. The position is stated but not adequately supported with logical arguments, resulting in an under-developed response that touches upon the task only partially. Based on these descriptors, a band 5.0 is appropriate.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the overall organization lacks clear progression. While transition markers like 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'In conclusion' are attempted, they are used mechanically and do not create logical flow. For example, the transition from discussing a cousin's academic success to concentration issues in co-education is disjointed. Referencing is frequently unclear, with pronouns like 'they' and 'there' used ambiguously throughout the text. Overall progression is hindered by these structural weaknesses and repetitive phrasing, placing the response firmly at band 5.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently impeded by word choice and collocation errors, such as 'numerous part of the earth', 'advantage divided', and 'cousin brother'. There are noticeable spelling errors like 'studghools' and 'adavantageous', and grammatical form errors such as 'eovt ducations'. The range is limited and only minimally adequate to express basic ideas, occasionally causing difficulty for the reader in understanding the intended meaning. This fits the band 4.0/5.0 boundary, leaning towards band 5.0 due to attempts at less common words like 'advantageous'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
Grammatical control is weak, with a very limited range of sentence structures. Most complex or compound structures are faulty, such as in the sentence 'For example, recently my cousin brother studying inter 2nd year in boys college and he is a topper from that college.' There are frequent errors in verb tenses, articles, and prepositions, including 'on these days', 'are providing girls campus', and 'rectify there mistakes in his own way'. These frequent errors cause difficulty for the reader and distort meaning at times, corresponding to a band 4.0 descriptor.
