Student answer (Band 5.0)
In considerable parts of world both females and male are studied together in co-educational or mixed schools. some individuals believe that both genders get benefit from separeted schools in singel-sex shchools. I firmly agree with this piont of view as they can concentrate the education more when they are educated separetely without looking for unnecessary things such as letationships and frienships.
On the one hand, girls and boys are educated more if they do not have other things which are unnecessary to be busy with. girls and boys are capable of making relationships when they spend much time at scools during long hours at schools and as a lesult, they become busier with connecting with each other. For instance, having meaningful relationships can impact their level of education in general. Therefore studing and spending time at schools separetly can develop strong level of experience.
On the other hand, friendships can also occur during school time which has an immense impact op their development. Consequentely, having freedom at schools without monitoring impacts their mindset negetively which will affect them after graduation and can get lower scores generally. For example, they will look for having thoughts that are really unexpected. Thus, separeted sex-scools avoid making friendships.
In the light of the aforementioned points, althought both girls and boys are capable of educating together at singel-sex schools in many parts of the world,I believe that it would be much better if they educate in separeted schools to avoid making unnecessary relationships and friendships.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position agreeing with single-sex education and attempting to provide arguments relating to concentration and avoiding distractions like relationships. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitive. The arguments rely heavily on the idea that romantic relationships and friendships negatively impact education, but these points are under-developed and lack specific, well-reasoned examples. For instance, mentioning that students will 'look for having thoughts that are really unexpected' is vague and unclear. Furthermore, the first paragraph contains a contradiction, noting that both females and males are studied together while simultaneously arguing for separation. Overall, the task is addressed, but the support lacks depth, placing it squarely at Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is divided into four paragraphs, showing an attempt at a standard essay structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, overall progression is limited by repetitive arguments and mechanical cohesive devices. Words like 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand' (used incorrectly here to introduce a second supporting point rather than a contrasting view), and 'Consequentely' are used, but referencing is sometimes unclear, such as 'they can concentrate the education more when they are educated separetely'. Paragraphing is present, but the logical flow between sentences within paragraphs feels disjointed due to frequent lexical and grammatical issues. Cohesion is faulty and repetitive, justifying a Band 5.0 score.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with frequent spelling and word-choice errors that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. Examples of spelling and formation errors include 'separeted', 'singel-sex', 'shchools', 'piont', 'letationships', 'frienships', 'scools', 'lesult', 'studing', 'op', and 'negetively'. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'immense impact' and 'concentrate the education', but inaccuracies in collocation and word form are noticeable throughout the text. The range is limited and minimally adequate for the task, resulting in a Band 5.0 score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'females and male are studied together' (incorrect pluralisation/subject-verb agreement), 'both genders get benefit from separeted schools in singel-sex shchools' (redundancy and preposition misuse), 'they can concentrate the education more' (awkward phrasing), and 'if they educate in separeted schools' (voice error, should be passive or reflexive). Punctuation is also weak, with missing capitalisation at the beginning of sentences and after full stops. These frequent errors cause difficulty for the reader and reflect a Band 5.0 level.
