Student answer (Band 5.5)

In many parts of world mixed schools are used for the educations where most people hold a view on the dividing of the groups based on single-sex education.I partially agree with this as concentration education is done but at the same time combine studies are used to explore the mindsets.

On the one hand,Using the single-sex school or colleges boys and girls can involve in there studies.Additionally single school system helps student to explore there doughts with there faculties whitout any hesitations most of students get problem to ask there doughts whith there faculties due to their introvortness which feels difficulty to face in combined institutes.Futhermore, students can easily concentrate on their academics and happly participate in sports. For example most of the girls have wireadness to partcipate in sports because their feel shy and students may feel comfortable .

On the other hand, co-acadimics are help educators to explore there ideas and have the friendship whith there opposite genders.Howevere at the time of the exams or projects their used to sit together to share there ideas and different viewpoints and other aspects.Futhermore mainly combined studies are help the student to explore themselve to find their friends based on their wibes and nature. For example mixed gender group studies are much more attentive to the students nowadays their are used to explore their friends and there ideas and gain the knowledge.

To sum up with this student can get knowledge in both the schooling system its completely based on there aspects where combine studies are help to explore the ideas and explore our points to them therefore single-sex studies are hellp students to only focus on there studies .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the issue—single-sex education versus co-education—and clearly states a partial agreement position in the introduction ('I partially agree with this as concentration education is done but at the same time combine studies are used to explore the mindsets'). All parts of the task are covered, and relevant ideas are presented, though some arguments are rather repetitive and under-developed. For instance, the discussion on sports and shyness is somewhat limited, and the phrasing occasionally obscures the exact points being made. However, the overall stance remains clear throughout the essay. This performance aligns well with the requirements for Band 6.0.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay has a recognizable overall structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs representing opposing views, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate ideas. However, logical progression is frequently hindered by mechanical or faulty cohesive devices, referencing errors, and punctuation issues (such as missing spaces after periods, e.g., 'education.I partially agree'). Cohesive devices like 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'Futhermore' are used, but referencing is sometimes unclear, such as 'their used to sit together' or 'explore themselve to find their friends'. These mechanical flaws and occasional lapses in smooth progression place this criterion firmly at Band 5.0.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is adequate to communicate basic ideas about schooling systems, but it is limited and contains numerous spelling and word-choice errors. Examples include 'educations', 'combine' instead of 'combined', 'doughts' instead of 'doubts', 'whitout', 'introvortness', 'co-acadimics', 'whith', and 'wibes'. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary items (e.g., 'introvertness', 'viewpoints', 'mindsets'), but these are marred by inaccuracies in spelling and form. While communication is still achieved despite these errors, the lexical limitations and frequent spelling mistakes restrict the score to Band 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some variety in structure. However, grammatical accuracy is weak throughout the essay, with frequent errors in verb forms, prepositions, and sentence construction. Examples include 'mixed schools are used for the educations where most people hold a view on the dividing', 'boys and girls can involve in there studies', 'most of students get problem to ask there doughts', and 'their are used to explore their friends'. Punctuation is also problematic, particularly with missing spaces and incorrect pronoun forms ('there' instead of 'their' or 'they're'). These persistent errors can cause occasional difficulty for the reader, placing the grammar score at Band 5.0.
