Student answer (Band 5.0)
These days a vast majority of people send their youngsters to get education in an institute where both girls and boys learn together, However, it is argued by some people that in various parts of the world girls and boys are acquired education under a roof in co-educational or mixed institutes. Therefore, others claim that both type of students take adavantage from being educated separately in one-gender schools. I agree with the latter view that people must send their learners to an educational institution where they can get education separately and they can get numerous benefits through this type of education system.
First of all, as we are living in developing country where a significant number of individuals do not have enough money to send their loved ones to a good institute for education. As far as I am concerened we should send our children specially girls to a seperate schools where they will spend their time with the same gender. The main reason of my view is cooperation because the girls are more cooperated as compare to the boys and they can learn different things by mutual cooperation. As a result, all the girls will be able to lead a family by cooperation in the future which is more advantageous for girls.
On the other hand, as a large number of people send their children to co-educational schools where both girls and boys learn together and they adopt different habits from each other. Sometime, girls behave like boys and adopt their habits. So, we should send our children to single-sex school whre boys will work with their same gender and they will work as a team. Consequently, boys will learn different skills from their classmates and will implement them in their real lives.
As a conclusion, as people send their children to co-educational schools in many parts of the world. Nevertheless, i agree with those who prefer to send their minores to an institute where both girls and boys benefit from being educated separately in single-sex school.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position agreeing with single-sex education. However, the development of ideas lacks clarity and depth. For instance, the argument in the second paragraph shifts abruptly into discussing economic development in developing countries and the idea that girls are 'more cooperated' (cooperative), which is slightly confused. The arguments regarding teamwork and gender roles are introduced but remain repetitive and somewhat under-developed. Although all parts of the prompt are addressed, the support is occasionally tangential, placing the essay firmly in Band 5.5 to 6.0 territory.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is divided into appropriate paragraphs with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing an overall progression of ideas. However, the cohesion within sentences and paragraphs is frequently faulty or mechanical. For instance, the transition 'First of all, as we are living in developing country...' creates a run-on and grammatically awkward structure, and the concluding paragraph begins with a confusing transitional phrase ('As a conclusion, as people send...'). Referencing is sometimes unclear, and cohesive devices are often overused or awkwardly applied, resulting in a Band 5.0 score for this criterion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate vocabulary range to communicate ideas about co-educational and single-sex schooling, such as 'educational institution' and 'single-sex school'. However, there are numerous inappropriate word choices and word-formation errors throughout the text, such as 'youngsters' used for children, 'acquired education' instead of acquiring, 'adavantage' instead of advantage, and 'minores' instead of minors. These lexical errors and awkward collocations occur frequently, limiting the lexical score to Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but it is heavily marred by frequent grammatical errors. Problems include tense and voice confusion ('girls and boys are acquired education'), missing articles ('in developing country'), incorrect comparative forms ('more cooperated as compare to'), and punctuation errors. Furthermore, many long sentences lack clear grammatical control, leading to confusion. Because errors are frequent and occasionally impede smooth reading, a Band 5.0 is appropriate.
