Student answer (Band 5.0)
In many countries co-educational system teach students all together in same instratution. There are few people who things that it is better to educate them separately its wil be benificial for students. From my view, i totally disagree with this statement.
In this, modern world both genders have the same rights to all sorts of things, also in education. There are several benefit to study together. first of all mixxed school will help to remove gender discrimination. people often think that women is'nt equal to men but this old minded belibes has changed. all genders are equal so there is no hard to teach both gender all together. Another reason is, It will also help students to improve communication or social skill. many of the students afraid to talk to the other gender. therefor this education system will help
students for overcome their nervousness.
On the other hand , in single sex schools after studing wirh the same sex student often forgot how to behave with oppsite sex, beacause they didnt get the chanc to learn about those behaviour. on the other hand in mixxed schools students learn this manners which eventually help them in future.
also student can help one another in studies and can attend or organise friendly compitetion, because in the work life they have to work with other gender so learning will help them in the corporte or day to day life.
To conclude, single sex school can be beneficial for students, however it also has some drowbacks. If we think baout the students future and academic life than co-educational system improve students several ways .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The student addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position of total disagreement with single-sex schooling and presents relevant arguments in favour of co-education. The main ideas include removing gender discrimination, improving social and communication skills, and preparing students for future professional environments where they will work alongside both genders. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited and occasionally repetitive. For instance, the argument regarding workplace preparation is touched upon in multiple paragraphs without significant extension. Furthermore, generalisations are present, such as 'many of the students afraid to talk to the other gender'. Despite these limitations, all parts of the task are addressed and a clear position is maintained throughout, fitting the Band 6 descriptor well.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response demonstrates a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing, dividing the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion appropriately. However, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. The student uses basic cohesive devices like 'first of all', 'Another reason is', and 'On the other hand', but punctuation and referencing errors disrupt the flow. For example, 'On the other hand' is used repeatedly and sometimes inappropriately, such as introducing the second body paragraph when it continues supporting the student's stance rather than presenting a direct counter-argument. Additionally, lower-case letters at the beginning of sentences and improper spacing hinder smooth reading. These issues place the response firmly at Band 5.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'gender discrimination', 'co-educational system', and 'corporte' (corporate). However, there are frequent spelling errors ('instratution', 'benificial', 'mixxed', 'belibes', 'therefor', 'studiung', 'oppsite', 'beacause', 'compitetion', 'drowbacks', 'baout') and word-choice inaccuracies ('this old minded belibes', 'didnt get the chanc'). While these errors are noticeable and require the reader to occasionally decode the intended meaning, the overall range remains minimally adequate to convey the student's central message, matching the Band 5 descriptors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as 'In many countries co-educational system teach students all together in same instratution' and 'If we think baout the students future and academic life than co-educational system improve students several ways'. However, there are frequent grammatical and punctuation errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('co-educational system teach', 'women is'nt equal'), missing articles ('in same instratution', 'in mixxed schools'), incorrect prepositions ('benefit to study', 'help students for overcome'), and capitalization errors (starting sentences with lower-case letters like 'i totally disagree'). Attempts at complex structures are often faulty, limiting the grammatical range and accuracy to a Band 5 level.
