Student answer (Band 5.5)

Over the past few decades, numerous learning system have introduced the education for girls and boys at same place. Many citizens contend that seperated education system would have positive repercussions on both gender. However, in my opinion co-schooling and one-gender schooling both have positive and esoteric impact.

On the one hand, both gender education organization build up confidence in learners that improve their communication skills in practical life. when they step forward to career opportunity, citizens can tackle problem easily as contrast to learners of single-sex schools. For instnce, each corporations have same platform for male and female where they employe have same similarities and don't have encounter difficulties to work with other gender.

On the other hand, seperated schooling would beneficial for girls and boys where they don't have any complex and especially girls might feel safe. Students never involve in sex activities, But in this case , the Governments would spent alot of money for establish the seperated education centre. Students loss their confidence probably thay can't feel comfortable to work with male.

In the conclusion, I would argue that people never neglect the power of co- schooling but one-gender-schooling also have some positive effect on student's mental helth.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the issue regarding co-educational and single-sex schooling, but the ideas remain limited and under-developed throughout the essay. The writer presents a somewhat unclear position, stating in the introduction that both systems have positive impacts, yet ultimately concludes by leaning slightly towards single-sex education. Furthermore, the response fails to meet the minimum length requirement, containing only 201 words instead of the required 250. This negative impact on development keeps the task achievement score at a lower level, as key arguments such as safety or career preparation are stated briefly without sufficient explanation or specific, fully realized examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a recognizable paragraph structure, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the progression of ideas is sometimes hindered by mechanical or faulty cohesive devices. For instance, transitional phrases like 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand' are used to structure the text, but internal referencing and logical links between sentences are occasionally unclear, such as the sudden shift regarding government spending and confidence in the second body paragraph. Paragraphing is utilized, though paragraph boundaries and transitions could be managed more smoothly to establish a clearer progression of thought.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey basic points about education systems. There are noticeable lexical errors and issues with word formation and collocation, such as 'learning system' instead of 'learning systems', 'seperated education system', 'co-schooling', 'esoteric impact', and 'mental helth'. Additionally, spelling mistakes like 'seperated' and 'alot' appear, along with awkward phrasing such as 'each corporations have same platform'. These errors cause occasional difficulty for the reader and prevent the vocabulary range from being classified as adequate or flexible.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writer demonstrates a limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on basic sentence forms alongside attempts at complex structures that are frequently faulty. There are persistent errors in subject-verb agreement and plurals, such as 'numerous learning system have', 'both gender education organization', and 'they employe have same similarities'. Other structural issues include missing articles ('establish the seperated education centre') and awkward clause construction, such as 'where they don't have any complex' and 'probably thay can't feel comfortable'. These frequent grammatical errors cause strain and difficulty for the reader.
