Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowdays, many schools educate boys and girls together, so many some people believe they study separately. in my opinion, I agree that co-educational schoolsare better because they help students develop social and communcation skills.

Firstly, co- educational schools help boys and girls communicates with each other from a young age. students can share ideas, work on group projects and learn to respect each other. this is useful for future because men and women need to work together in many jobs. For example, students who study in mixed schools can become more confident when speaking and working people with together.

Secondly, co-educational can create a more natural and social learning environment. student can understand more though about the relationship on boys and girls. It can also teach as to teamwork and learn teammanagment. co-educational more skill fully and more learn about the mixed schools. during school activities and competitions, boys and girls can work together and complete tasks successfully these skills can be usrful in their university and professional life. co-educational more use fully in your future life so i agree with the world girls and boys educated tpgether in co-educational or mixed schools. So that type of schools more use fully on future so my though is co-educational more skill fully and learning fully.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that co-educational is better than single-sex educational. studying together helps boys and girls develop communation, confidence, teamwork and respect. therfor, mixed schools can prepare students better for their future socail and professionnal.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you support co-educational schools, and the introduction and conclusion both reinforce this view. You give relevant reasons, including communication, respect, teamwork, and preparation for working life, with a brief example about group projects. However, the response only partly develops these points. For instance, the claim that mixed schooling creates a “more natural” environment is not explained, and the example about confidence is difficult to follow. The discussion also repeats that co-education is useful without adding much supporting detail. To strengthen the response, explain how each benefit occurs and include a specific, clearly described example. This would make your reasons more fully developed and address the question more completely.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help signal the main stages of the argument. However, progression within the second body paragraph is difficult to follow: ideas about relationships, teamwork, activities, university, and future life are joined together without clear explanation. Several claims are repeated, especially that co-education is useful for the future, and some links between sentences are unclear. For example, “co-educational more skill fully” does not show how it connects to the preceding point. Organise each body paragraph around one main benefit, then explain and illustrate it in a logical sequence. Clearer referencing and fewer repeated conclusions would improve cohesion.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “group projects,” “teamwork,” “confidence,” and “professional life.” These terms help communicate your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “useful” and “co-educational.” Frequent spelling errors, such as “communcation,” “therfor,” and “professionnal,” also make the writing less clear. Some combinations are not natural or precise, including “learn teammanagment” and “more skill fully.” Build a wider set of accurate expressions for discussing education and social development, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise collocations would help you express your ideas without relying on repeated general words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the overall meaning can usually be understood. However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “schoolsare better,” “students can… communicates,” and “students… can work together and complete tasks successfully these skills,” where spacing, subject–verb agreement, and sentence boundaries need attention. Articles and sentence openings are also inconsistent, as in “student can understand” and the lower-case “in my opinion.” Most structures are simple, while attempts to combine several ideas often become faulty. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation, and separate complete ideas into sentences before attempting more complex structures.
