Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is agrue about the grils and boys are educated togrther in co-education but other think boys and girls sperate schools can benefits there education. I agree with this satement because of it hepls to fouse on study rather then other activities, easy to mange the students.
To begin with, there are many reasons that helps to counter the co-education systems. To explain it, it hepls to fouse the students on studys , As we kewn about the changes happened in human boby that force them to acttracted with each other due to that schools should be single- sex schools it hepls to mimumm the outcome and hepls to fouse in studys. Similarly, In context of korean schools they are applying this rule of single- sex schools due to that teachers can easily manage the students and fouse on them.
On the other hand, there are some people who are the side of co-education. To elaborate it, if we build the single-sex schools then it takes a lot of money due to that fee expencese will double. AS the result, poor family cannot pay the bills of single-sex schools but the goverment funds the schools then it will be more easiler to accompilsed the single-sex project. Like wise if the students cannot commucited with grils or boys then it also effect thier lifestyle.
To sum up, there are serveral advantages of single-sex schools rather then draw backs. The single-sex schools will established then students only fouse on thier studys rather then other activities with thier female friends. The one point i like most about the coummucation with each other it will be lack on but in upper class like university its can be sloved there.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall preference for single-sex education, stating that it can help students focus and make classroom management easier. You also acknowledge the opposing view by mentioning cost and the value of communicating with the other sex, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the claim about physical changes and distraction is asserted rather than explained, and the reference to Korean schools does not show how the example supports your argument. Your conclusion introduces university as a possible solution, but this point is not developed. To strengthen the response, explain each main reason more fully and make your position consistent across the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting different views, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “To sum up” help signal these stages. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because ideas are joined without clear explanation. For example, the discussion moves from students’ attraction to one another to Korean schools and teacher management without showing the connection between these points. The conclusion also shifts to communication at university rather abruptly. Use clearer topic sentences, develop one central idea at a time, and make references such as “this rule” and “it” explicit so readers can follow the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “co-education,” “single-sex schools,” “manage the students,” and “lifestyle.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “fouse” and “studys,” which makes the argument less precise. Frequent spelling errors, including “agrue,” “sperate,” “goverment,” and “commucited,” can make parts of the response difficult to understand. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “mimumm the outcome” and “fee expencese will double.” Build a more accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations carefully; precise expressions will help communicate your ideas without changing their meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “if,” and “then.” This shows an effort to connect reasons and consequences. However, control is inconsistent, and complex sentences are often difficult to interpret. For example, “if we build the single-sex schools then it takes a lot of money” has an unclear subject and awkward clause structure, while “The single-sex schools will established” is missing the correct passive verb form. There are also recurring problems with agreement, articles, plurals, and punctuation, as in “many reasons that helps” and the comma splice in “To explain it, it helps…”. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence’s subject and verb.
