Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, Education is very crucial and has a profound impact on the personality. In the certain areas of the world males and females are educated together in co-educational and mixed schools, however. some people believe that they can get more benefit if educated separately in single-sex institution. This essay contain both the views and let us further delve into the topic.
To begin with, why teaching boys and girls together in co-educational was become popular all around the globe because if they are teach in the same sapce where both the gender present then it reduce the gender shyness between them in result it will help to boost the confidence on another extent. Moreover, it allow them to make friends from the opposite gender which improve their better understanding of the emotions and beahaviour. Also, it also helps to reduce myths which are running from the generations.
On the other hand, some people disagree with this point of view and they believe that boys and girls should have more benefits when they are educated separtely in single gender schools. I disagree with the believe because it does not make any sense that they get more advantages if we do this. Whereas , it can impact their mental health also and raise a question in there mind that why this difference exist. If we forcefully create a wall between both the gender in result they are more attracted to each other.
In conclusion, I believe that we should not force any gender about where to study because it can impact their studies and concentration power. we have to support the equity as well for the better future of upcoming generations.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the central question and make your position clear: you disagree that single-sex schools offer greater benefits, arguing that mixed education builds confidence and understanding between genders. The points about reducing shyness, forming friendships, and challenging myths are relevant. However, the discussion is only partly developed. For example, you state that mixed schooling improves understanding of emotions and behaviour, but do not explain how this happens or give a specific example. The opposing view is introduced, yet its possible advantages are not explored before you reject it. The conclusion supports equity but does not fully draw together the reasons in your argument. Develop fewer points with explanation and examples, and engage more directly with the benefits claimed for single-sex education.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
Your response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the essay. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several ideas are joined in long, unclear sentences. The opening says the essay will cover “both the views,” but the first body paragraph’s main point is not stated cleanly, and the second shifts between disagreement, mental health, and attraction without clear links. Some connectors are also awkwardly placed, as in “however. some people believe.” Use clearer topic sentences, separate distinct points, and make references such as “they” and “this” unambiguous.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “co-educational,” “single-sex,” “gender shyness,” “confidence,” and “mental health.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the issue beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts of the argument harder to understand. Examples include “boost the confidence on another extent,” “make friends from the opposite gender,” and “concentration power”; these are not natural expressions in this context. There are also misspellings such as “sapce,” “beahaviour,” and “separtely.” Build a bank of accurate topic collocations and check spelling, while choosing precise expressions rather than repeating broad terms such as “benefit” and “impact.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional and subordinate clauses, as in “if we forcefully create a wall between both the gender…” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “This essay contain both the views” has subject–verb disagreement, while “why teaching boys and girls together… was become popular” has an incorrect verb construction. Other problems include missing or incorrect articles and plurals, as in “in the certain areas” and “both the gender,” as well as sentence-boundary and capitalization errors. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea at a time, then add subordinate clauses only when you can control their verb forms and punctuation.
