Student answer (Band 4.5)
In many countries boys and girls are getting their education together. Some people beleive that it is not good for students boys and girls should learn seperate which is very good for both of them. I completely agree that single-sex schools are very good for both teams.
Firstly, the girls are very innocent but boys are very intellegent. Girls have their own privcy we must teach them in seperate schools and must hire onlu lady teacher. For example, if a girl get sick boys cannot help that girl instead thry are going to talk about him with very bad words. we should respect this veiw and make them different.
Secondly, boys always like to study with only boys. they don't like to learn wiyh boys. Moreover, boys keep secrit wich girs cannot cary they are not trust able girls are going to tell each abd every one which is nit good.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You state a clear position—“I completely agree”—and give two reasons related to privacy and students’ preferences. However, the response addresses the question only minimally: the reasons are asserted rather than explained, and the example about a girl becoming sick does not clearly show why separate schooling would benefit students. Claims such as “girls are very innocent” and “boys are very intelligent” are broad generalisations, not developed support. The response also does not explore the extent of your agreement or consider any relevant qualification. Importantly, it is 99 words below the required minimum, leaving too little space to develop your argument. To improve, explain each reason, use a specific and relevant example, and make clear how separate education benefits both girls and boys.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an introduction is followed by two body paragraphs, and “Firstly” and “Secondly” signal the order of points. This gives the reader some sense of structure. However, progression within the paragraphs is weak, and several ideas are difficult to connect. For example, the second paragraph moves from boys preferring to study together to keeping secrets, without explaining how these points support your position. Some linking is repetitive or unclear, and the final paragraph ends abruptly without a conclusion. Develop one main idea at a time, explain the link between each example and your argument, and add a brief concluding paragraph that restates your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
Your vocabulary is basic and repetitive, but some task-related terms—such as “co-educational,” “single-sex schools,” and “privacy”—show an attempt to use relevant language. Frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices make parts of the response difficult to understand, including “beleive,” “seperate,” “privcy,” and “secrit.” Phrases such as “both teams” are not appropriate for describing girls and boys in this context, while “not trust able” does not express the intended idea naturally. Build a small set of accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions such as “students’ privacy,” “learn in separate classes,” and “share confidential information” would help communicate your ideas clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You use mostly simple sentence patterns, with a few attempts to join ideas using “but,” “because,” and “Moreover.” However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes make the intended meaning unclear. For example, “Some people beleive that it is not good for students boys and girls should learn seperate” lacks a clear sentence structure, and “if a girl get sick” has an incorrect verb form. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “we should respect this veiw” and “they don't like to learn wiyh boys.” Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries. Using accurate simple sentences first will make your argument easier to follow.
