Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is very common that many educational institutes, teach students in mixed girl-boy environment. Some people say that boys and girls should be taught seperately, I completely disagree with this statement as I believe both boys and girls benefit when taught in co-educational schools.
Teaching students in a seperate environment can have negative impacts on their life. In today's day and age, men and women work together and they are dependent on eachother with everyday tasks around the world. If students who are taught in single-sex schools, there might be higher chances that they become more shy and socially awkward when faced in a situation where both men and women are required to perform a task. For instance, in my office I have often noticed that those guys who have not intracted with girls in their schools they behave less confident around women. Whereas, people who grew up in a mixed environment they are more mature and can handle any social intraction with opposite sex more comfortably.
On the other hand, people who are taught in co-educational schools they tend to be more productive and more easy going, they are socially active and energetic regardless the gender they are facing. For exemple, in many colleges most of the projects are in groups containing boys and girls, if their previous education is mixed then the students in those groups communicate well and are more organized comparatively to those who never intracted with opposite gender.
In conclusion, I believe that students who are taught in a mix environment they are well spoken and mature and also very confident as compare to those who grew up in single sex schools.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you completely disagree with single-sex education and support co-educational schools. You give relevant reasons, especially that mixed schooling can help students feel more comfortable working with people of another gender, and you support this with examples from your office and college projects. This addresses the task, but the discussion is not equally developed across its aspects. The second body paragraph largely repeats the social-confidence argument rather than adding a distinct benefit, and the possible advantages of single-sex schools are not considered. To strengthen the response, explain your main reasons in more depth and briefly acknowledge why some people favour separate education before explaining why you disagree.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally follow a sensible order. However, progression between the body paragraphs is not fully clear: “On the other hand” suggests a contrasting point, but the paragraph continues to support co-education, much like the previous one. Several links are also repetitive, particularly the repeated references to social interaction and confidence. The example beginning “For instance” is relevant, though its connection to the broader claim could be made more explicit. Use paragraph openings that accurately signal the relationship between ideas, and organise each paragraph around a distinct reason. Clearer referencing and less repetitive linking would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your main points, including “co-educational schools,” “single-sex schools,” “socially awkward,” and “communicate well.” However, the range is limited and some wording is repetitive or imprecise, such as “mix environment,” “intracted,” and “social intraction.” There are also spelling errors, including “seperately,” “exemple,” and “eachother,” which reduce accuracy. Some phrases are understandable but not natural in this context, for example “more easy going” and “regardless the gender.” Aim for more precise collocations and vary repeated terms such as “taught” and “environment.” Proofreading spelling and choosing more natural academic expressions would improve clarity and control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mixture of simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If students who are taught in single-sex schools, there might be higher chances…” and a relative clause in “those guys who have not…” These attempts show some range, and the overall meaning remains understandable. However, some sentence structures are incomplete or awkward: the “If” clause is not properly connected to a main clause, and “those guys… they behave” uses an unnecessary repeated subject. There are also errors in articles, agreement and comparison, as in “a mix environment” and “as compare to.” Review conditional sentence patterns and check that each clause has a clear grammatical structure. More accurate sentence construction would make your ideas easier to read.
