Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is often argued that in many countries in the world girls and boys are educated together in co-education or mixed schools, while others believe that students benefit from being educated separartely in single-sex school. I completely agree with the statement that young childrens can get advantages frm co-education because it help them to build confidence and teach them how to work or communicate with opposite gender.

The first main benefit of studying together is that it would be useful for students to build confidence. It means that it will help males to focus on their personaity or dressing sense and these factors will enhance their self-belief and same thing in ladies. For example, students of both genders are getting education in one university will face each other and learn from each other about different aspects, such as dressing sense or about studies or become more satisfied with themselves. As a result, they do not feel hesitation from other students or female friends or feel free to study with them in a group.

Furthermore, the second main positive effect is that it help them to improve communication with opposite gender and reduce fear of one another. In other words, girls does not feel comfortable while communicating with boys and same or boys. For example, students studying in an international university will be move convenient or easy to talk with anyone. Therefore, after completing their education, they get job very easily on the basis of their conversational skills.

In conclusion, co-education play a very important role to build confidence and good communicational skills. From my perspective, it is a positive developement in world and useful for students.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you support co-education, and you give two relevant reasons—building confidence and improving communication between genders. The examples about students learning together and later finding work help connect these points to the topic. However, the response only partially develops the comparison implied by the question: it does not explain why single-sex education might benefit students or weigh its advantages against co-education. Some reasoning is also unclear, such as the link between dressing sense and confidence. To strengthen the response, address both sides of the view and explain each main idea with a more specific, convincing example. The response meets the task’s length requirement; the 10 words copied from the prompt are excluded from the count.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate benefits, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “The first main benefit,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” make the progression easy to follow. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and some links between ideas are unclear. For instance, the discussion of “dressing sense” does not connect smoothly to the claim about confidence, while “Therefore” introduces a job outcome that is not fully established by the preceding explanation. There are also unclear references in “same thing in ladies” and “same or boys.” Use more precise linking and refer back to people or ideas explicitly, and organise each paragraph around one clearly explained point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your main ideas, including “confidence,” “communicate,” “opposite gender,” and “conversational skills.” However, the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors make parts of the response awkward or unclear. Examples include “personaity,” “frm,” “more convenient or easy,” and “good communicational skills.” Some phrases, such as “focus on their…dressing sense,” are also imprecise for the point being made. Build a more accurate set of expressions for discussing education and social development, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More natural collocations would make your ideas clearer without requiring unusually advanced vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “while,” and “after,” so there is some structural variety. However, complex attempts are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction can make the reader pause. For example, “it help them” should use a verb agreeing with “it,” and “girls does not feel” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. “Co-education play” also needs an agreeing verb, while “students…will be move convenient” has an incorrect verb pattern. Practise checking each sentence’s subject and verb, and use a smaller number of well-controlled complex sentences before adding more ambitious structures.
