Student answer (Band 5.0)

People around the globe highlights the importance of studying in single sex school rather than co educational instituations. I strongly disagree with this view because mixed school education gives you confindence and interaction along with studies. It It prepares the student for competitive all sex job market and pormotes gender equality.

People thinks that studying in mixed school is less beneficial than studying in single gender school. I disagreee with this view because it reduces the exposure for students. In my view point, co-education is of more importance because it enables student to compete with diverse brains of all gender. It also enables student to prepare them for competitive job market. A student who studied at co-education institution is more confident. One can easily interact with the other sex.It helps to develop friendly working environment with no awkwardness.

I disagree with this view because it is not supported by the view of gender equality. We are living in 21st century, a modern era where females are equally competent as male. This view discriminates between genders. It also makes one emotionally strong. In present time, both the genders work side by side in every market including health sector, corporate market, administative role as well as government setup. This equality leads to countries economic growth.

Studying in co-education is more beneficial than studying in single sex school as it provides equal opportunity for everyone to grow. In this way, every gender gets importance. The growth of any economy lies in the fact of equality and acknowledging every sex's efforts.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the opening: you strongly disagree that single-sex schools are more beneficial, and you return to the advantages of co-education in the conclusion. You address relevant aspects of the question, including confidence, interaction, preparation for mixed-gender workplaces and equality. These points support your view, but some are asserted rather than fully explained. For example, you say mixed schooling “makes one emotionally strong” and contributes to economic growth, without showing how these outcomes follow. The discussion also focuses mainly on benefits of co-education rather than explaining why supporters might favour single-sex education. Develop each main reason with a specific explanation or example, and make the comparison more explicit.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an identifiable introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion, and the reader can follow your overall position. However, progression between ideas is not consistently clear. The opening repeats the disagreement in the next paragraph, and the repeated starts “I disagree with this view” make the argument feel circular rather than progressively developed. Some links are also unclear: “This equality leads to countries economic growth” does not clearly connect the preceding claims to the economic outcome. Use each paragraph for a distinct reason, then explain and illustrate it before moving on. More precise referencing and a wider range of natural transitions would help the ideas connect without relying on repeated phrases.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “gender equality,” “competitive job market,” “diverse” and “equal opportunity,” so your meaning is generally understandable. However, the range is limited by repeated terms such as “student,” “gender” and “view,” and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors are noticeable. Examples include “highlights the importance,” “competitive all sex job market,” “friendly working environment” and “countries economic growth.” These choices sometimes make the intended meaning less precise. Aim for more natural academic collocations and check spelling carefully; varying repeated nouns with accurate alternatives will also make the argument more fluent and precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including “because” clauses and the relative clause “where females are equally competent as male.” The main ideas remain understandable, but grammatical control is uneven, and errors occur in basic sentence construction as well as longer sentences. For instance, “People around the globe highlights” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “It It prepares” repeats the subject and “One can easily interact with the other sex.It” lacks appropriate sentence spacing and punctuation. There are also issues with articles and plural forms, as in “enables student” and “as male.” Practise checking agreement, articles and sentence boundaries, then build more accurate complex sentences.
