Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the modern era, in the most parts of the world both girls and boys are educated togetherin co-education or mixed schools system. Many people argue that boys and girls should be educated separately in single gender schools. I strongly agree on that boys and girls should be educated in separate schools because that creates problem in family through both boys and girls adopt bad things from each others. E.g., Adopt dressing of girls by boys etc.
Firstly, at education level boys and girls not have great sense of to think matters at that level, So, they adopt many things from each others in that age of group like copying things from male gender that should be only suitable in male gender like clothes fashion, hair design etc. Also in my religion Islam also guide me to give distance to females that are out of your boold relatives. Also you donot see female with good intention because Islam have very strict rules in female and male interaction.
Secondly, I would say at higher level of education we should educate in co-educational or mixed schools because at that level we mature enough to make my decision. So, we are indepent to decide what to do.
in conclusion, study should do in separate scholls for both girls and boys. that also follow our religion

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear overall preference for single-sex schooling, and the points about students copying one another and religious expectations are relevant to the topic. However, the response addresses the question only partially: the claim that mixed schooling creates “problem in family” is not explained, and the example about clothing and hairstyles is brief rather than developed. Your position also becomes less consistent when you say that co-education is appropriate at higher levels, without clarifying how this fits your strong agreement with separation. The religious point is asserted rather than supported with a specific explanation. The response is 28 words below the required minimum, which further limits the opportunity to develop reasons and examples. Explain your extent of agreement consistently and support each main reason with a clear example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader some sense of organisation. However, progression between ideas is limited, and the links between claims are sometimes unclear. For example, the first paragraph moves from copying clothing styles to family problems without explaining the connection, while the second shifts from supporting separation to accepting co-education at higher levels. The conclusion repeats the preference for separate schools but does not resolve that qualification. Cohesive phrases such as “Also” and “So” are used, but they do not always show the precise relationship between ideas. Develop one main point per paragraph and use clearer links to show cause, contrast, and qualification.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “single gender schools,” “co-educational,” “interaction,” and “religion,” so the reader can identify the subject and your main position. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are unnatural or unclear, such as “adopt dressing of girls,” “sense of to think matters,” and “give distance to females.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “indepent,” “scholls,” and “boold,” also reduce accuracy. These issues sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow, particularly in the explanation of religious guidance. Build a more precise vocabulary for discussing educational benefits and social development, and check spelling and collocations when revising.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a contrast between school stages. However, the range is limited, and errors are frequent enough to make some sentences difficult to understand. Examples include “both girls and boys are educated togetherin,” “boys and girls not have great sense,” and “we mature enough to make my decision.” These show problems with word order, auxiliary verbs, articles, and agreement or pronoun consistency. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also unreliable, as in “So, we are indepent to decide what to do.” Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking verb forms and pronouns so that longer sentences remain clear.
