Student answer (Band 5.5)

In several part of the world Both gender is educated at same place in co-educational or mixed schools. While some individuals believe that girls and boys benefit from educated individually in particular schools for single-sex. I think it doesn't matter they being educated in single gender schools or mixed. i will discuss both view and give my conclusion in upcoming paragraphs.

On the one hand, If boys and girls get their schooling from mixed gender institute they can learn how to respect other gender and also make familiar to approach. Both of them respect each other in their life. For example, the boys understand the girls ability and they never hate them. This can make them well being to every gender and resist from being misogynist. The both gender learn together and give value like both gender at same level. And also they can be friend easily and understand each others feeling.

On the other hand, If both gender being educated at different place they can be not easily familiar with each other and it makes problem for being friends with opposite gender. There is also a benefit from learning seperately like the boys misbehaving with girls should be neglected during study. They also be afraid of being friend or approaching for help to girls. The crime rate should be decrease by this way but in future there are so many problems happen between their relationships. So if they both studied together with other gender it will help a lot in future.

In conclusion, I agree with both gender should be educated at same school because it is more important to make them friendly behaving with other gender in future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the question by discussing both mixed and single-sex schooling and give a clear final preference for co-education. Relevant points include learning to respect the other gender and the possibility of reduced misbehaviour in separate schools. However, the opening says that it “doesn't matter” which arrangement is used, while the conclusion clearly favours mixed schools, so your position is not consistent throughout. Several claims also need explanation: for example, you mention that separate schooling could reduce crime, but do not show how or support this with an example. Develop fewer points more fully and make your degree of agreement clear from the introduction onward.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the two sides of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the first body paragraph moves quickly from respect to friendship and then to being “well being,” without clearly connecting or developing each point. Some linking is repetitive, particularly repeated references to “both gender,” and “So” introduces a conclusion-like claim inside the second body paragraph. Use clearer topic sentences, group related ideas, and make references such as “they” and “this way” more precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “co-educational,” “single-sex,” “misogynist,” and “crime rate,” and these choices show an attempt to discuss the issue beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “make familiar to approach” does not express the intended idea naturally, and “well being to every gender” is unclear. Spelling errors such as “seperately” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural phrases for discussing social interaction and education, and check that each word fits its context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If boys and girls get their schooling…” and a contrast introduced by “While.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to understand. Examples include “Both gender is educated,” “If both gender being educated,” and “The crime rate should be decrease,” where agreement or verb forms are faulty. Sentence boundaries and capitalisation are also inconsistent, as in “i will discuss,” while some clauses are joined without clear punctuation. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete conditional patterns, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and finite verb.
