Student answer (Band 5.5)
In several parts of the world Both genders is educated at the same place in co-educational or mixed schools. While some individuals believe that girls and boys benefit from being educated individually in particular single-sex schools. I think it doesn't matter whether they educated in single gender schools or mixed. I will discuss both views and give my conclusion in upcoming paragraphs.
On the one hand, if boys and girls get their schooling from mixed-gender institute they can learn how to respect other gender and also become familiar to approach. Both of them respect each other in their life. For example, the boys understand the girls' ability and they never hate them. This can make them well-being to every gender and resist being misogynist. Both genders learn together and give value to that both genders are at the same level. Also they can be friends easily and understand each other's feelings.
On the other hand, if both genders are educated at different places they cannot be easily familiar with each another and it makes a problem to be friends with the opposite gender. There is also a benefit of learning separately such as boys misbehaving with girls should be prevented during their studies. They are also afraid of being friends or approaching girls for help. The crime rate should be decreased in this way but in future so many problems happen in their relationships. So if they both study to gether with the other gender it will help a lot in future.
In conclusion, I agree with both genders should be educated at the same school because it is more important to make them behave in a friendly way with other gender in future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the question by discussing both mixed and single-sex schooling and give a clear final preference for co-education. Your points about learning to respect other genders and becoming more comfortable interacting are relevant. However, the opening says that it “doesn't matter” which type of school students attend, while the conclusion clearly favours mixed schools, so your position is not fully consistent. Several ideas also need fuller explanation: for example, the claim that separate schooling prevents misbehaviour is not supported with a clear example, and the point about future relationship problems is difficult to follow. State your degree of agreement consistently and develop each main reason with a specific explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the two sides of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the second body paragraph moves from difficulty making friends to misbehaviour, crime rates, and future relationships without clearly connecting these points. Some references are also unclear, such as “in this way” and “they both,” and the conclusion largely repeats the preference rather than drawing together the reasons. Organise each paragraph around one main idea, then explain its consequences in a clear sequence and use linking phrases only where they show a precise relationship.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “co-educational,” “single-sex schools,” “opposite gender,” and “misogynist,” and the reader can generally understand your main points. However, the range is limited and several word choices or combinations are unnatural, which sometimes makes meaning less clear. For instance, “become familiar to approach” does not express the intended idea naturally, while “make them well-being to every gender” is difficult to interpret. “Crime rate should be decreased in this way” is also imprecise in context. Build a more accurate range of phrases for interaction and school behaviour, and check collocations and word forms so that your ideas are expressed clearly rather than relying on repeated references to “both genders.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if boys and girls get their schooling from mixed-gender institute” and a contrast introduced by “While.” However, errors are frequent, and some sentences are difficult to process. Examples include “Both genders is educated,” where the subject and verb do not agree, and “whether they educated,” which is missing an auxiliary verb. The opening also uses a sentence fragment beginning “While some individuals believe…,” and punctuation and spacing are inconsistent, as in “help. The crime rate.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, complete clauses, and auxiliary verbs before adding more complex structures; then proofread sentence boundaries and punctuation.
