Student answer (Band 5.5)

Education is essentail requriment for every individual. On the Earth male and female are tought in co-education system. However, few citizens thought the separate schools are better. I completely disagree with this argument because girls are good at some subjects and boys are good at another therefore both genders can assist each other if they learn in same school.

Learning new knowldge doesn't matter with school system where its co-education or single sex school. The most important factor is about the intreset of student. It is natrually known phenomina that girls in biology and boys are good in maths. If girls help boys while studying biology they can easily pased with good grades and viseversa for boys. The second argument may be about grooming and understanding the perks and privilage of different genders which will help both in there marrige life. For example, If different genders understand the psychlogy of men and women it will solve many upcoming issues. For instance, My friend married to his school friend and both were togather for almost 20 years. His wife know him from childhood and she can easily adjust in her in-laws home furthermore they are happily living instead of fearing about their partners nature after marraige.

On the other hand, Only boys and girls schools has many issue with their level of confidence. This different edcuation system is linited to school or may be university. However, In their professional life they need to work whereever therfore it is harmful. For example, My cousin studied her whole schooling and higher education was from female school and college now she stayed at home for last 4 years just becasue she is not comfortable to work with males.

To conclude,Co-education system must be promoted by athurites to balance the education system for both genders. This method will bennficial for thier professinal life and personal life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you disagree with single-sex education and support co-education, and you give reasons related to peer learning, relationships, and later workplace confidence. The examples about your friend and cousin make the response relevant and help illustrate your view. However, some points are not fully developed or are too broadly stated. For example, the claim that girls are naturally better at biology and boys at mathematics is presented as a general fact without support, and the marriage example is only indirectly connected to the benefits of mixed schooling. Explain more precisely how studying together builds mutual understanding or prepares students for professional life, and acknowledge a possible benefit of single-sex schools before explaining why it is outweighed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, supporting paragraphs, a counterpoint, and a conclusion. The progression from academic cooperation to social understanding and then workplace confidence is generally easy to follow. You also use signposting such as “The second argument” and “On the other hand.” At times, however, these links feel mechanical, and some connections between sentences are unclear. The shift from subject strengths to marriage, for instance, needs a clearer explanation of how the ideas relate. Referencing is occasionally confusing, as in “they are happily living,” where the people referred to are not immediately clear. Use more precise transitions and make each paragraph develop one central reason in a clear sequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “co-education,” “professional life,” “confidence,” and “psychology,” and your meaning is generally recoverable. However, the range and control of vocabulary are limited by repeated spelling errors and inaccurate word forms, such as “essentail,” “knowldge,” “intreset,” and “professinal.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise: “perks and privilage of different genders” and “balance the education system” do not clearly express your intended meaning. Aim to learn accurate spelling alongside collocations, and choose direct academic phrasing—for example, “develop an understanding of different perspectives” rather than “understanding the perks” of genders. This would make your argument clearer and more precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional and relative structures, as in “If girls help boys while studying biology…” and “My friend married to his school friend and both were together for almost 20 years.” This shows some range, but errors in sentence construction and verb forms recur. For example, “My friend married to” needs a different verb pattern, while “His wife know him” has subject–verb agreement trouble. In “now she stayed at home,” the tense does not fit the intended continuing situation. Articles, plurals, and punctuation also need attention, particularly the comma splice in “To conclude,Co-education…” Practise checking one sentence at a time for complete clauses, tense consistency, and agreement.
