Student answer (Band 6.0)

In various countries, males and females are given education collectively through co educational institutes. While few individual believe that it is benevolent for both genders to study separately in schools that offer same gender schooling. I agree with idea of co education. However, there must be limitations for students regarding how they should treat each other.

The idea of girls and boys getting co education in some countries is ubiquitous specially in the west. Countries that participates in this system believes in social behavior of human beings that of course include males and females. To live in a practical world communicaton of girls and boys is an esstential element that should be taught from an early age. For example, beginners learn their early social behavior in schools and how to treat the other gender and because of that co education plays a vital role here. Neverthless, ocassionally both genders can get indulged in things that are not school appropiate like disrespecting each other on the basis of gender and thinking that one is better than other.

Meanwhile, the concept of single sex school is mainly common in Asian countries. The educational institutes that offers seperate schooling for girls and boys rarely see problems that comes with the joint learning system that sometimes include gender bases bullying and digital brawl on social media groups.

In conclusion, I believe that all students should be given equal education regardless of gender but with strong restrictions of respecting boundries should be taught in each school whether it offers co education or same gender schooling.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you favour co-education, while recognising that mixed schools can have problems. You address both sides, for example by explaining that students learn to communicate across genders and by mentioning bullying in mixed settings. However, the support is uneven. The point about learning social behaviour is relevant but would be stronger with a specific example or fuller explanation of how it benefits students later in life. The paragraph on single-sex schools mainly lists possible problems avoided, without explaining whether separate education offers distinct benefits. Your conclusion also introduces “strong restrictions” without clarifying what these should involve. Develop these points more fully and connect them directly to how far you agree.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, paragraphs considering co-education and single-sex education, and a conclusion. The ideas generally follow a sensible order, and transitions such as “Meanwhile” and “In conclusion” help signal shifts. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The opening sentence beginning “While few individual believe…” is not smoothly linked to the following statement of your position, and “because of that” refers back to a long explanation rather than a sharply defined point. The paragraph about single-sex schools is brief and does not clearly connect its examples to your overall argument. Use clearer topic sentences and develop each paragraph around one main claim, with explicit links between evidence and your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a reasonable range of topic-related vocabulary, including “co-education,” “social behavior,” “gender-based bullying,” and “single sex school.” Some attempts at less common or formal wording show ambition, but several choices are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “benevolent” for beneficial, “digital brawl,” and “school appropriate.” Spelling errors, including “communicaton,” “esstential,” and “Neverthless,” also reduce accuracy. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding your main ideas, but they make the writing less precise and fluent. Prefer familiar, accurate collocations over unusual wording, and proofread spelling. For instance, “online arguments” would communicate your point more naturally than “digital brawl.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “Countries that participates in this system…” and a longer explanation beginning “To live in a practical world…”. The main argument remains understandable, but some grammatical errors occur across the response. Examples include subject–verb agreement in “Countries that participates” and “institutes that offers,” and the incomplete construction “While few individual believe…” at the start of the introduction. There are also problems with articles and number, as in “one is better than other.” These errors are noticeable, though they rarely obscure your meaning. Check agreement between subjects and verbs, and make sure introductory dependent clauses are joined to a complete main clause.
