Student answer (Band 5.5)

In numerous part of the world students study in Co-education system ,some argue that male and female should not study in same institution because this will less benefit them.

I strongly dis-agree with this point of view, because learning with opposite gender will help the student to build thier mutual respect and confidence .For educational networks and governement, managing a signle instituiton for all students optimizes resourses, infrastructure and teaching staff.

To start with, eco-education system can help students to respect eachother, because it is preparing them for real-world experiences for example, students will be fimiliar how to interect with oposite gender in terms of communication and relation .

Students who came from conservative mindset, they always have lack of confidence so its very important for learner toget out of their comfort zone and to experience diversity of environment .

Moreover, it will help educational institutional networks and authorities to easily manage a signle institution for all students, which will optimize resourses instrasture and teaching staffs.Good quality of education for students is essential and it can't be compromised, therefore it will require resources For example, electricity for more than one instituition will be over consume ,even insfrasturture takes up more space, thus this leads to environmental degradation.

Overall, from my prespective co-education system should be encourage, as it is pivota; for personal growth and resource conservation .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you strongly disagree that students should be educated separately, and you give two relevant reasons—mixed schooling can build confidence and mutual respect, and shared institutions can use resources more efficiently. The examples about communicating with the opposite gender and the costs of electricity and infrastructure help connect these points to the question. However, the confidence argument is only briefly explained, and the resource argument would benefit from clearer evidence or a more specific example. The response also does not meet the required minimum length, so there is limited space to develop the reasoning and address the issue in greater depth. Extend each main point with explanation and a concrete example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present supporting reasons, and a conclusion restates your position. Sequencing phrases such as “To start with,” “Moreover,” and “Overall” make the progression easy to follow. However, some links between ideas are abrupt or unclear. For instance, the move from students’ confidence to “experience diversity of environment” needs a more explicit explanation, while the resource paragraph shifts quickly from education quality to electricity, infrastructure, and environmental degradation. Punctuation and spacing also sometimes interrupt the flow. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to the claim it supports; this would make the overall progression more consistently logical.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “mutual respect,” “comfort zone,” “resources,” and “environmental degradation,” and these choices help communicate your main ideas. There is also some attempt to use more formal language, such as “optimizes” and “conservative mindset.” However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts less clear, including “eco-education,” “fimiliar,” “interect,” “resourses,” and “insfrasturture.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “teaching staffs” and “electricity … will be over consume.” Check spelling carefully and learn common academic collocations. More precise alternatives for key terms would help you express the benefits and costs without relying on repeated general wording.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause with “because” and a result clause with “therefore.” The main argument remains understandable, but errors in sentence construction and punctuation occur across the response. For example, “students who came from conservative mindset, they always have lack of confidence” has an awkward clause structure and article use, while “it will require resources For example” needs clearer sentence boundaries. There are also problems with agreement and verb forms, as in “co-education system should be encourage” and “electricity … will be over consume.” Aim to produce complete, controlled sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Review articles, subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and punctuation around examples.
