Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is a moot point that, in many places of all over the Globe boys and girls are learned togather in same class. While some people believe that girls and boys benefits from seperately acquired education in a one-sex education facility. Other argue that same class and learning togather would be beneficial. I believe that learning togather would be helpful for both.
One major reason of seperate learning is that it lowers the distraction from opposite gender. This improves the focus and concentration of the individual. In addition, there are less chances of afairs and personal relationships buildups. For example, in a school with both girls and boys may leads to unnecessary interactions or distractions which might affect the study or even leads to poor performance in exams.
On the other hand, In the same school students learn about social interraction. By means of communication and frienships with opposite gender boys gain soft skills and girls feel safe and protective around the boys. In addition, it can improve the overall study environment around the place. students learn how to treat eachother and how to behave in the society. Also, it removes the social fear because of the early age interactions and social upbringing.
In my opinion, Although the seperate education places can improve focus and lower the distraction. Learning at a same place would be more beneficial for both in terms of education and social development.
In conclusion, however, there are some crucial points in seperate learning: build focus, no opposite gender distraction and more study but the benefits such as early socialization by communication with eachother; built respect towards eachother; soft skills; good behaviour are overcoming the disadvantages. I am in support of mixed schools.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you support mixed schools, and you address both the case for single-sex education and the benefits of co-education. The points about focus and possible distraction are relevant, as are your arguments about communication, social confidence and respect. This gives the response a sound, balanced basis. However, some ideas are asserted rather than explained: for instance, the claim that girls “feel safe and protective around the boys” is unclear and needs a more precise explanation or example. The discussion of academic benefits is also general, with little evidence showing how mixed schooling improves learning. Develop fewer points in greater depth and support them with a specific, plausible example to make the argument more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph presenting the case for separate schools, a contrasting paragraph on mixed schools, and a conclusion that restates your view. Signposting such as “On the other hand” helps readers follow the shift in argument. Some connections, however, feel mechanical or unclear. The final paragraph lists several benefits rather than synthesising them, and “however” does not clearly express the relationship between the ideas in that sentence. There are also abrupt transitions between points within paragraphs, such as moving from social interaction to the study environment without explaining the link. Use linking phrases selectively and make each paragraph develop a central idea through explanation and example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “focus and concentration,” “soft skills,” “social development” and “socialization,” which helps communicate the main ideas. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “It is a moot point,” though this expression does not fit naturally here. A number of spelling errors and awkward word choices are noticeable, including “togather,” “seperately,” “afairs” and “interraction.” Phrases such as “personal relationships buildups” and “early age interactions” are also unnatural or imprecise. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding your position, but they limit precision and fluency. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for education and social development.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a concession in “Although the seperate education places can improve focus…” and a relative clause in “which might affect the study.” However, errors in sentence construction, agreement and articles are frequent enough to make some sentences awkward or difficult to process. For example, “Other argue” lacks subject–verb agreement, while “a school with both girls and boys may leads” combines an incorrect verb form with a faulty construction. The opening also contains a sentence fragment beginning “While some people believe…”. Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, including the lower-case “students” after a full stop. Practise building complete sentences and checking agreement and verb forms, especially when using modal verbs and subordinate clauses.
