Student answer (Band 5.5)

In many countries over the world believed that the girls and boys should study in co-educational or mixed schools, whereas the some individual think that girls and boys benefit from being educated separately in single-sex schools. I strongly believed that both gender should take education in similar school which help them to understand the different behaviour from different gender.

First and formost, the major merits of studing in similar school provide chance to learn about different gender. Furthermore, if boys and girls learn together they can be familier with each other and do not be shy to make opposite gender freinds. For example, if a both-sex taking class at the same time so they can see the ratio of grasping power gained by different gender. Moreover, in childhood it bacome easier to make freinds from separate sex, while it goes difficult to growing age. In addition, sometimes youngster get beyond their limits due to they grew up in separate school, therefore they want to make more then casual relation with opposite gender.

Secondly, mixed schools is not providing school edcuation knowledge and friends group, but also get chance to learn about hormonal changes in diferent ages. As a result, it is necessary to learn about mood swings and happiness because this will helpfull in future after they got married. For example, sport game like tug of war in that boys and girls play separately and get chance to prove that boys and girls have similar energy to prove sufficient themself. Similarly, in growing culture there are many people who descriminate people ability through their gender. Therefore, it is necessary to put their children in co-educational school, due to this they can achived so many thing in their life.

In conlusion, I believed that school is same is not only for better education and better freinds from different gender, but also there are many people who judge by the gender for them it is perfect example to prove best themself in every way like, academic, sports and so on. Although, learning in mixture school is very help in their proffesional regarding behaviour and skills they learn.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you favour mixed schools, and you give relevant reasons, including familiarity between genders, challenging gender stereotypes, and learning to interact with others. These points address the question, but the discussion is only partly developed. For instance, the claim that students learn about “hormonal changes” is not clearly connected to the benefits of co-education, and the tug-of-war example does not explain how it supports your argument about schooling. The conclusion restates your preference but introduces the unclear idea that mixed schools are “a perfect example” for people judged by gender. To strengthen the response, explain each main reason more precisely and support it with a clear, relevant example. The response meets the stated length requirement; 14 words copied from the prompt were excluded from the count.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First and foremost,” “Secondly” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: several ideas are added without showing how they connect, particularly the shift from hormonal changes to a sports example and then discrimination. Some linking expressions are repetitive or do not express the relationship accurately, and references such as “this” in “this will helpful in future” are unclear. The conclusion also repeats earlier points rather than bringing them together clearly. Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, then use a specific explanation and example to develop it; make links between sentences explicit and precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “co-educational,” “opposite gender,” “mood swings” and “discriminate,” and you use some variation rather than relying entirely on basic words. However, the range is limited and many spelling, word-form and collocation errors make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “studing,” “familier,” “freinds,” “edcuation” and “proffesional.” Phrases such as “ratio of grasping power” and “prove sufficient themself” are not natural or clear in this context. Aim for accurate, natural combinations of words and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise expressions such as “academic performance” or “gender stereotypes” would help communicate your ideas without awkward phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to use both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “whereas,” “if” and “because.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in basic sentence construction, agreement, articles and verb forms frequently make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “both gender should take education in similar school” has problems with number and sentence structure, while “mixed schools is not providing” has subject–verb agreement and verb-form errors. In “this will helpfull in future after they got married,” the verb pattern and tense are also unclear. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine them using one clear subordinate clause. Check that subjects and verbs agree and that verb forms remain consistent within each sentence.
