Student answer (Band 5.0)

In different countries boys and girls are qualified from co-educational system. Some people consider that single gender school are best for both boys and girls to study separate reather than co-education. Now a days, the co-education system are normal routine of life.

In my point of view, i recommended co-educational study at school and universties. When people studies in co-education system it give them a confident and they learn from each other to how to respect each other. For example If school teacher make the groups to perpare the project as an assignment then boys and girls will do there task. Meanwhile, the each member group share his ideas to each other to made a batter project.

On the other hand, some people prafer a separate education system. Dispite this, students how educated from separate education system they have less confident. Reather than, students how qualified from co-education system they are confident to face the world and achive the goals. If people get education of non co-education system they are facing some issue in their pratical life. Like when boys and girls get a job they are worked with each other so they did not know how to talk each other and they loss their confident on that time.

In sum up, co-educational system is important in our life to boost the confident and motivate each other in some task. Furthermore, both gender are compete to each to win the goals and they work hard.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear preference for co-education, stating, “In my point of view, i recommended co-educational study,” and you address the opposing view by discussing single-sex education. Your reasons—learning to respect one another, building confidence, and preparing for mixed workplaces—are relevant. However, the ideas remain limited and are not developed with enough explanation or specific evidence; the group-project example is brief, and the claim that separately educated students struggle at work is asserted rather than supported. The response also does not meet the stated 250-word minimum, which limits how fully you can develop your argument. Explain each reason more fully and add a concrete example to make your position more convincing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting co-education, a paragraph presenting the alternative, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of your argument. You also use signposts such as “On the other hand” and “In sum up.” However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several links feel mechanical or inaccurate. For example, “Meanwhile” does not clearly show the relationship between the group members’ ideas, while “Reather than” introduces a comparison awkwardly. Some references, such as “they” and “that time,” are not fully clear. Use fewer, more precise linking phrases and organise each paragraph around one main point followed by its explanation and example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “co-educational system,” “separate education system,” “confident,” and “respect.” These choices make your main subject and position understandable. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make the writing less natural, such as “qualified from” for students educated in a system, “boost the confident,” and “loss their confident.” There are also repeated forms of “co-education” and “confident,” so the vocabulary lacks flexibility. Build a small set of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise expressions for confidence, cooperation, and workplace interaction would help you explain your ideas clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with clauses, for example, “When people studies in co-education system it give them a confident and they learn from each other.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader pause. Examples include subject–verb agreement (“people studies,” “it give”), missing or incorrect articles (“in co-education system”), and verb-form problems (“they are worked with each other”). Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly around “For example.” Practise accurate present-tense agreement and article use first, then build longer sentences from two correctly formed clauses. Proofreading each sentence for its subject and verb will improve clarity.
