Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, in many parts of the world girls and boys are educated together in co-educational or mixed schools. Some people think that girls and boys benefit from being educated separately in single-sex schools. I am totally agree with this information and I will discuss it.
Firstly, in many schools co-education in schools moslty fails many boys and girls in this age when their mind was developed to do something in their life. The boys and girls was in love or in a relationship with each other and they dont focus on their studies and they both boys and girls fails and their family faces problems because they pay for their education.
Secondly, the boys and girls was educate separately in single-sex schools. Because this would give them a benefit to use his all attention to get a good grades in class and many boys in schools. Mostly they like to study in a boys class they dont like co-education in schools. They dont talk loudly and they was not doing any fun activity in co-education.
To the other side, that's all depend on children they use their time while in co-education system thats all depend if a student was like to study. They get a good grades while studying in a co-education thats all depend on student. some students when they were in boys schools they dont get good marks and they fail that all depend how much student do hardwork to get good grades.
In conclusion, the co-education divert the mind of a children who was studying with girls the other was if a student spend their time in boys school they learn everything very quickly because they spend their time in boys and they feel comfortable.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall preference for single-sex education in the opening, and you offer relevant reasons, especially the possibility that relationships may distract students and that some feel more comfortable studying separately. However, the position becomes less consistent in the paragraph beginning “To the other side,” where you say results depend on the individual and that students can also achieve good grades in co-education. This qualification is relevant, but it is not reconciled with your strong opening and conclusion. The reasons are also asserted rather than explained or supported with a specific example. Develop both sides of your view and explain when, and for whom, single-sex schooling may be beneficial.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two supporting paragraphs, a counterpoint, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help signal this organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and several ideas are repeated, particularly the claims about distraction, grades, and student effort. The transition “To the other side” introduces a qualification, but the relationship between this point and your stated preference is not made clear. Some sentences also run together or contain unclear references, making the argument harder to follow. Give each paragraph one main purpose, connect each supporting explanation explicitly to that purpose, and use referencing and transitions more precisely.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the general subject, including “co-education,” “single-sex schools,” “relationship,” and “grades.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, such as “boys and girls,” “good grades,” and “depend.” Some choices are inaccurate or unnatural, including “I am totally agree with this information,” “use his all attention,” and “divert the mind.” Spelling errors such as “moslty” also reduce accuracy. These issues sometimes make the intended meaning less clear, though the main ideas can generally be understood. Build a more precise vocabulary for discussing concentration, academic performance, and social development, and check collocations and spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “when,” but the range is limited and complex sentences are often faulty. Errors occur frequently in verb forms and agreement: “I am totally agree,” “the boys and girls was,” and “they was not doing” are examples. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “a good grades” and the long sentence beginning “To the other side.” These errors sometimes make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and past versus present forms, then build longer sentences from correctly controlled clauses. Check each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
