Student answer (Band 5.5)
Co- educational schools are present in many regions of the world where both genders study together, however, some people have the mindset that girls and boys should study seperately so that they can get benefits in education. I totally disagree with this statement as I think co-education is the best way of studying as it boosts the confidence and respect towards the opposite gender.
Mixed-schools teach the children how to respect the oposite genders. Teachers care about the oppinions of both genders in many ways, for instance, teachers teach the children in friendly manner and they take care of the thing that no child feel insulted in front of class and opposite gender. For example, i some children are very emotional, if teachers insult them they feel depressed, however, the co-education teacher take care of the feelings of child.
Children often feel much confident when they sudy in mixed schools. They take part in many social work and activities in order to impress other genden and most importantly their mindset is evolved. The gender discrimination amng the children id eliminated and girls feel safe in the environment. For example, there is a huge difference between two girls, one is studying in a co-education, she can talk with everyone without hesitation, other girl who is studying in a small girls-only school, she is very shy and can not talk with anyone.
To put it in a nutshell, co-education is very important for the grooming of the child. By studying in mixed school, the gender discrimination is eliminated and both genders learn how to respect each other.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you totally disagree with single-sex education and support mixed schools. You give relevant reasons, including learning to respect the opposite gender and gaining confidence, and the examples of the emotional child and the two girls help illustrate these points. This addresses the question, but the benefits are not developed equally: the first example focuses mainly on teachers avoiding embarrassment, rather than showing how mixed schooling itself builds respect. The comparison between the two girls is also broad and hypothetical. To strengthen the response, explain the cause-and-effect behind each benefit and acknowledge or answer a possible advantage of single-sex schools before reaffirming your view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present supporting reasons, and the conclusion restates your position. The ideas generally progress from respect to confidence, and examples are introduced with phrases such as “For example.” However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The opening sentence joins two complete ideas with a comma before “however,” and “For example, i some children…” makes the relationship between the point and example difficult to follow. The conclusion repeats the same benefits rather than drawing the argument together. Use clearer sentence boundaries and more precise links between each claim, explanation, and example to make the progression smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “co-education,” “gender discrimination,” “confidence,” and “respect,” so the main ideas are understandable. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repetitive or imprecise, such as “study together,” “opposite gender,” and “feel much confident.” Some word-choice and spelling errors also reduce accuracy, including “opinnions,” “opossite,” “gendens,” and “amng.” Phrases such as “social work” and “the grooming of the child” do not express your intended meaning naturally in this context. Build a more precise range for discussing interaction, social development, and educational benefits, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional example (“if teachers insult them…”) and a contrast introduced by “however.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but some sentence structures and grammatical forms are inaccurate. For instance, “Teachers care about the oppinions of both genders in many ways” is followed by a long sentence with unclear clause structure, while “no child feel insulted” needs subject–verb agreement. Other examples include “the co-education teacher take care” and “one is studying in a co-education,” where agreement and sentence construction need attention. Review agreement, articles, and how to punctuate clauses joined by “however.” More accurate control of these patterns would make your argument easier to read.
