Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays boys and girls are study together in same school, while some people believe that the seperate schools are benificial for young generation. In my perspective, co-educatinal is benificial for childern because it helps to develop social skill and prepare them for real life.
There are several benifits of educating boys and girls together. Firstly, students can learn how to communicate with others and cooperate with people with them at an early age. This can improve their level of confidence. For example, students can start working on project with groups discussing each other the main point of presentation and more sports activities or school events arranged together. Secondly, co-education can provide a better environment because man and women have work together in most workplaces. Therefore, students can become comfortable with this situation before entering their professional lives.
Furthermore, single schools are also have some benifits. Some students can concentrate better for work because they are not distracted by the others. In addition, teachers can sometimes design a lesson seperate for boys and girls which they easily learn. For instance, students who are shy may feel more comfortable participating in class discussion or other school activities. However, these necessaities mean that seperate schools are better for every students.
In Conclusion, although education can help students focus on their career and make better career for their lives. I believe that co-education is offer greater opportunities for improve social lives. studying together allows young people to develop communicate, teamwork and social skills that are important for future education and everyday lives.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you favour co-education because it develops social skills and prepares students for working life. You address both sides, acknowledging that single-sex schools may help some students concentrate or feel more comfortable participating. These are relevant points, and the workplace comparison gives your argument a useful rationale. However, the benefits of mixed schooling are more fully explained than the advantages of separate schools, and several examples remain general—for instance, the project and sports activities are mentioned without showing specifically how they build confidence or cooperation. The conclusion also introduces career benefits without clearly connecting them to the preceding discussion. Develop each main point with a more precise example and explain how it supports your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two school types, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “Furthermore,” and “However” help readers follow the main stages of the argument. The overall progression is coherent, but some links are mechanical or unclear. In the first body paragraph, the example about projects, presentations, sports, and events is crowded into one sentence, making the relationship between the ideas difficult to follow. The contrast beginning “However, these necessities” is also unclear because the reference does not identify which needs are meant. Use clearer topic sentences and divide examples into manageable sentences, with explicit links between each example and the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “co-education,” “social skill,” “confidence,” “professional lives,” and “participating.” This gives you enough language to communicate your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, such as “seperate,” “benificial,” and “necessaities.” Some phrases are also imprecise or unnatural, including “make better career for their lives” and “develop communicate.” These errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your overall position, but they reduce precision and fluency. Check spelling carefully and learn common word partnerships, such as “develop communication skills” and “build a career,” so that your ideas sound more natural and exact.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause (“because it helps…”) and a contrast clause (“although…”). This shows some range, and the main argument is generally understandable. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur in several places. For example, “boys and girls are study together” uses an incorrect verb form, while “single schools are also have” combines incompatible verb structures. The final sentence, “I believe that co-education is offer greater opportunities,” also has an incorrect verb pattern. Some sentences are awkwardly joined, particularly the example about group projects and activities. Practise accurate present-tense forms and build longer sentences around one clear main clause; then check agreement and punctuation.
