Student answer (Band 5.0)
In various parts of the globe girls and boys are getting education together in co-educational or combined schools. Some people belives that girls and boys benefit from being educated seperately in single-sex schools.I partially agree with these both views on education towards girls and boys.
On the one hand , i agree with the first views where in various parts of world girls and boys are educated together in co educational or mixed schools because it is rights for both girls and boys to get education in same schools and class .In mixed schools both boys and girls gets equal opportunity to participate in educational programs and sports program whic is held by schools.Firstly it gives chance to study and get same lecture or classes together for both boys and girls . For instance it helps both girls and boys to communicate together regarding to various topics which was unclear by professors.Secondly, both boys and girls gets opportunity to participate various recreational programs held by schools like picnic , tours , treeking and other activities which helps them to relax their minds.
On the another hand, some people belived that girls and boys benefit from being educated seperately in single-sex schools. One reason is that either boys or girls can simply asks questions related to their personal problems like girls can ask regarding their physical buildup and periods painning without any hesitations. For example , the boys or girls in single sex-school they didn't have fear about making jokes on them or bullying to them regarding their physical structures.Another main reason is either girls or boys confidently asks questions regarding the topics like biology like reproductive and contraceptives devices without any shyness .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the topic by presenting reasons for both mixed and single-sex education, and examples such as shared activities and asking sensitive questions are relevant. However, your position is not fully clear: “I partially agree with these both views” does not explain how far you support each arrangement, and the response ends without a conclusion that confirms your judgement. Several points are asserted rather than developed—for example, shared classes are said to help students communicate, but the educational benefit is not explained in depth. The response also falls one word short of the required minimum: it contains 249 words, and the 29 words copied from the task prompt are not counted. State your position precisely, extend the reasons with explanation, and add a concise conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph beginning “On the one hand,” and another beginning “On the another hand.” This helps readers identify the two sides of the discussion, and examples generally follow the points they illustrate. However, progression is limited because the essay stops after the second body paragraph, with no concluding paragraph to bring the argument together. Linking phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Another main reason” create a somewhat mechanical sequence, while some connections between claims and explanations remain unclear. For instance, the link between mixed schooling and equal opportunity is stated but not developed. Use a conclusion and clearer transitions that show how each example supports your position, rather than relying mainly on a list of points.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “co-educational,” “single-sex schools,” “recreational programs,” and “reproductive” topics, so the reader can follow the general discussion. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors are noticeable. Phrases such as “physical buildup,” “periods painning,” and “regarding to various topics” are unclear or unnatural, and misspellings such as “belives,” “seperately,” and “treeking” reduce accuracy. Repetition of “girls and boys” and “opportunity” also limits flexibility. Build a bank of accurate education-related collocations and check spelling carefully; more precise expressions will help you explain the benefits and concerns without changing your intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons and examples, but the range of structures is limited and errors occur frequently. Subject–verb agreement is inconsistent in “both boys and girls gets,” and verb forms are faulty in “they didn't have fear” and “can simply asks.” Articles and sentence construction also need attention, as in “it is rights” and “in same schools and class.” Several sentences run together or lack appropriate punctuation, including the opening paragraph’s joined sentences and the long sentence beginning “In mixed schools.” These errors sometimes make the reader pause to interpret the meaning. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, modal verb patterns, articles, and sentence boundaries before adding more complex clauses.
