Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's world, many places in the world which provide education in school to both male and female. Some people argue that students such as male and female should study in school separety which help them in their studies. I completly disagree with this essay view and i will support my opinion with solid arguments.
Looking at first argument, students who recieve knowledge in different school has low confidence. They have low amount of cofidence to talk to opposite gender which make them vulnerable and make them fell low in the eyes of others. For instance, a boy who never talk to a girl in their study life can face a lot of difficulty in their future to make an assignement project with their female partner in their state level competion of different school .
Additionaly, in future, taking education in single-sex learning system make students vulnerable to not taking jobs in a company due to opposite gender environment. it waste their time to search for jobs which have the same environment which they want. For instance, a girl, who spent their whole life studying in a girl school, college, and university and never ever have a time ta face a man in his whole education which make this girl to fear to face opposite gender environment and now she only want to work with only female colleagues which make her chances of getting jobs narrow.
In conclusion, i totally disagree with the people opinion to learn in same gender environment because it make students suffer and have less employment opportunities in the future. I believe that they should study i sam

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you “completely disagree” with single-sex education, and the conclusion restates this view. Both body paragraphs give relevant reasons, focusing on confidence in communicating with the opposite sex and later employment choices, with examples to illustrate each. This addresses the main question. However, some ideas are less fully developed than others: the first example about a school project is brief, while the employment example makes a broad claim that a student would fear working with men without explaining why this outcome is likely. Develop the reasoning and clarify how mixed schooling builds practical skills, and consider acknowledging a possible benefit of single-sex schools before explaining why you disagree.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Looking at first argument,” “Additionally,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main progression. The ideas are generally grouped appropriately, but cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and some references are unclear. For example, “which make this girl” follows a long sentence with several possible referents, and “it waste their time” does not clearly identify what “it” refers to. The final sentence also ends abruptly, leaving the conclusion incomplete. Use clearer links between each claim and its explanation, vary transitions, and ensure every paragraph and sentence is complete.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “confidence,” “opposite gender,” “single-sex learning system,” and “employment opportunities.” These choices communicate your main points, but the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors make the writing less natural. Examples include “study separety,” “low amount of cofidence,” “make an assignement project,” and “narrow” for job chances. Some phrases are also repetitive, particularly references to the “opposite gender” and “environment.” Build a more precise range for discussing social skills and work, and check spelling and common word partnerships. More accurate phrasing would make your arguments clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including relative clauses and conditional structures, as in “A boy who never talk to a girl… can face a lot of difficulty.” However, control is uneven: some sentences contain several grammatical problems, and these can make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “many places in the world which provide education in school to both male and female” is not a complete sentence, while “students… has low confidence” has a subject–verb agreement error. There are also errors in verb forms and sentence construction, such as “which make them vulnerable” and “it waste their time.” Practise complete sentence patterns, agreement, and consistent verb forms, then proofread long sentences for clarity.
