Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued that in many parts of the worlds girls and boys are educated together in co-educational or mixed schools. While there are valid arguments on both sides, I agree that the boys and girls are educated together in mixed schools because it promotes equal opportunity to grow.
One of the main reasons why i agree with statement is that we live in globalized village and i think if a boy get good opportunites than the girl also hav have the right. I also think that mixed schools provide better opportunity for social developement and prepare students for future carrers
On the other hand, studying in seperate schools may have some benefits .For example students might feel more comfortable and confident whem interacting with classmates of the same sex. They may also experience fewer distractions and concentrate more effectively on their studies
On the other hand , i believe that codeucational schools offer far greater long term benefits. Firtsly boys and girls leran how to communicate, cooperate and respect each other from the early age. These skills are particularly important in profressional environments where men and women had to work together. Secondly, mixed schools encourage healthy compitition and allow students to exchange differnt opinions and ideas. They can improve their confidence and teamwork abilities.
In conclusion, although single sex education may provide comfortable learning environment for some students, I beleive that coeducational schools are more beneficial overall becuase they develope important social skills and prepare young people for practical challenges in adult life

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is identifiable: you favour mixed schools, and you give relevant reasons, including equal opportunity, social development, communication and teamwork. You also acknowledge a possible benefit of single-sex education, such as students feeling more comfortable. However, several points are asserted rather than explained—for example, the claim that mixed schools promote equal opportunity is not supported with a specific example or clear explanation. The response therefore addresses the question only partially, with ideas that remain limited and under-developed. The required minimum length is not met: the response contains 244 words, six words short, and 12 words copied from the prompt were not counted. Develop each main reason with a concrete example and explain more fully why it supports your view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, discussion of a counterargument, reasons for your view and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the general direction of your argument. However, progression between ideas is not always clear: “On the other hand” introduces both the single-sex-school point and the later argument for co-education, although the latter is not a contrasting position. The body paragraphs also contain several ideas without enough explanation to connect them into a developed line of reasoning. Use a distinct paragraph for each main position, choose linking phrases that accurately show the relationship between ideas, and add explanation or examples so the argument progresses rather than reading as a list.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “equal opportunity,” “social development,” “cooperate,” “healthy competition” and “teamwork abilities.” These choices communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and some wording is inaccurate or repetitive, which keeps expression from being consistently clear and natural. For example, “globalized village” is an unclear expression in this context, and “better opportunity for social development” would be more natural as “greater opportunities for social development.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “opportunites,” “seperate,” “profressional” and “differnt.” Check spelling carefully and build a wider range of precise collocations for discussing education and its outcomes.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession in the conclusion (“although single sex education may provide…”) and a relative clause (“where men and women had to work together”). However, errors occur frequently and sometimes make the reader pause. Examples include “why i agree with statement,” which needs an article, and “if a boy get good opportunites than the girl also hav have the right,” where the conditional structure and verb forms are faulty. There are also punctuation and sentence-boundary problems, such as the missing space after “schools.” and inconsistent capitalisation of “I.” Practise accurate articles, subject–verb agreement and conditional sentences, then proofread punctuation and sentence boundaries.
