Student answer (Band 5.5)

In the modest world education is now becoming co due many reasons. Everybody have their own view about this. Some people think co education is good but for some people it is not comfortable. They think educating girls and boys seprately benefit more than together. In my point of view, I largely agree with this because co education comes with many problems so it is better to get educated separately.

In other schools of thoughts people think that co-education is good for childeren as they understand both genders which help them in future affairs of life. they get confidence to deal with their opposite gender.

But this co education comes with many problems as I said before students get distracted with other things. Girls and boy start their relationships then they completely leave studies and started to sort their relationships problems which lead them to worst result. these things damage their mental health which brings many health issues like depression anxiety and many more they lose their focus against their studies.

Students engage themsleves in those activites which are too much for their age. They take part happily in other competitions which are not healthy.

In single sex school students give their complete focus to their studies. They do not engage themselves in anyother activities. They make friends without any jelousy or competitions and eventually, they get good result.

In conclusion, the world is now become modern and comes with many modern updates like co education. However, co education leads to many probles which are not good for students so the single gender school is best for the bright future of a student. Indeed student who wants to become something badly can adjust in any environment this thing does not matter for his/ her but not every student is same.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear overall view: you largely support single-sex education, and you acknowledge the opposing argument that mixed schools can help students gain confidence interacting with the other gender. This addresses the central question, but the discussion is only partly developed. Claims that students in mixed schools become distracted, neglect their studies, and experience mental-health problems are broad and are not supported with a specific example or explanation showing how common or direct these effects are. The benefits of single-sex schools are also asserted rather than demonstrated. To strengthen the response, explain the circumstances in which separation might help, support that point with a relevant example, and weigh it against the social benefits of co-education.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to an opposing view, your main argument, and a conclusion. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and transitions such as “But” and “In conclusion” signal changes in direction. However, progression within the body is limited: several claims about distraction, relationships, health, and academic results are placed together without clearly showing how one leads to the next. The paragraph beginning “Students engage themselves” is also difficult to connect to the argument because the activities are not specified. Some linking and reference are repetitive or unclear, including repeated use of “co education” and “these things.” Organise each body paragraph around one main point and connect supporting explanations explicitly.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “co-education,” “opposite gender,” “mental health,” and “single sex school.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are imprecise or unnatural, which sometimes makes the argument harder to follow. For example, “In the modest world education” does not clearly express the intended idea, while “worst result” and “competitions which are not healthy” are vague. Spelling errors such as “seprately,” “childeren,” and “probles” are noticeable, and some words are repeated rather than replaced with more precise alternatives. Build a bank of accurate education-related collocations and check spelling during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a contrast with “However” and a conditional idea in the final sentence. Nevertheless, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence construction, agreement, verb forms, and punctuation. Examples include “Everybody have,” “Girls and boy start,” and “they completely leave studies and started,” where agreement or tense is inconsistent. Several sentences run together, such as the sentence beginning “Girls and boy start their relationships,” making the relationships between ideas unclear. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention. Practise forming accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “although,” and “which.”
