Student answer (Band 4.5)

The co-education is a modernised school system in which girls and boys are studying together in most countries. But some people consider that girls and boys are educated separately in single sex school is more beneficial.

Firstly, some people having thought that co-education is not beneficial to younger and reason behind it. the main reason is that the girls and boys do not share their knowledge and skills to each other confidently that why they do not learning many things and do not develop confident. For instance the opposite gender in some countries like islamic countries as Pakistan and iran do not involve to each other and their exporsure keep in limits about learning. However, they are not socialized properly in the society and develop introvert nature.

Contrarily, in thr some countries of world co-educated highly promote for sake learning and knowledge.

In conclusion, I am heavy agree with co education or mixed schools because this has many advantages for younger of both genders and learn many things. Meanwhile education in separate schools having limited chance to learn and socialization that why some people need tp change their thought about single sex schooling system.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You give a clear overall preference for mixed education in the conclusion, and you mention a relevant concern about interaction between genders. However, the response addresses the question only partially: the position is not clearly stated until the end, and the reasons are brief or unclear. For example, the claim that students “do not share their knowledge and skills” is difficult to reconcile with your later support for co-education, while the point about socialisation is not explained with a specific example. The comparison with single-sex schools also needs more development. The response is 56 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to explain and support your ideas. State your view in the introduction and develop two clear reasons with examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response into an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Firstly,” “However,” “Contrarily” and “In conclusion” show an effort to guide the reader. Nevertheless, the overall progression is difficult to follow: the first body paragraph appears to argue against co-education, but the conclusion supports it, and the short paragraph beginning “Contrarily” does not explain the contrast. Some connections between ideas are unclear, particularly “that why” and “the main reason is that.” Build each paragraph around one main point, explain how it supports your position, and use transitions that accurately show the relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “co-education,” “single sex school,” “socialized” and “introvert nature,” so the reader can identify the subject and several of your intended points. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or awkward, sometimes making meaning harder to understand. Examples include “modernised school system,” “develop confident,” and “exposure keep in limits.” Spelling errors such as “exporsure” and “thr” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, natural phrases and check spelling; for instance, describe students as developing confidence and gaining opportunities to interact. Reusing a few accurate topic terms is more effective than attempting expressions whose meaning is unclear.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a contrast introduced by “However.” However, the range remains limited, and errors occur frequently in verb forms, sentence construction, articles and agreement. For example, “girls and boys are studying together” is awkward in this general statement, while “they do not learning” and “some people having thought” have incorrect verb forms. The sentence beginning “the main reason is that” also runs into several clauses without clear punctuation, making the relationship between ideas difficult to follow. Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check verb patterns and punctuation before adding further clauses.
