Student answer (Band 5.5)
In Numerous parts of the world females and male study together in co-educational or mixed Academies. Few individuals argue that boys and girls get advantage to learn separately without co-education. From my perspective studying together in co education is better.
Firstly, some people argues that studying together is more beneficial for both the genders who study in shared academy because we can see an open merit in different kind of college admission instead of rather developing a quota system purely on genders and the behavior and dress code of students gets better in co-education schools as compared to separate schools.
Secondly, What i believe that co-education system works better when a lot of groups and like minded students participate in different activities. for instance i have studies myself in co-education system the whole time and a lot of opposite gender students have helped me from completing home work in schools. Moreover, Learning the programming in the university.
On the other hand, a lot of individuals oppose the idea of co-education because they have witness some students start to harass some female students. Moreover, a lot of students loose confidence when they talk or give presentation in front of opposite gender.
In Conclusion, The success of student doesn't depend whatever they study in co education or separate schools, its up to the student himself how much he works hard but recent study shows co education students have high number of marks because too be more attentive in the classroom and more discussion in studies.
Co education system must be promoted.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is identifiable: you favour co-education, and you give relevant reasons, including shared activities, peer help and the possibility of harassment in mixed schools. You also acknowledge concerns about confidence, so the response engages with both sides of the question. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The point about admissions merit and gender quotas is difficult to follow and is not clearly connected to the benefits of educating students together. The example of classmates helping with homework is relevant, but the following reference to learning programming is unfinished and does not explain its significance. The conclusion introduces a claim about recent research without identifying or explaining it. Develop fewer points with clearer reasoning and support to make your answer more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two supporting paragraphs, a counterargument and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “On the other hand” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some links between ideas are unclear. For example, the admissions point and comments about behaviour and dress code are joined without explaining how they relate. The sentence “Moreover, Learning the programming in the university” is incomplete, interrupting the second supporting paragraph. The conclusion also shifts from individual effort to an unsupported research claim. Use complete, focused paragraphs and make each sentence’s connection to the main point explicit; avoid relying on transition words alone to create cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the general argument, including “co-education,” “single-sex schools,” “confidence,” and “presentation.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “quota system” and “beneficial.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to interpret. “Females and male” is an awkward way to refer to girls and boys, while “get advantage” and “open merit” are not natural expressions in this context. “Opposite gender students” is repeated and could be expressed more precisely. Spelling and word-form slips such as “loose” for “lose” also reduce control. Build a bank of accurate education-related collocations and check spelling and word forms during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “when,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited in practice because several complex sentences are faulty or incomplete. For example, “some people argues” has a subject–verb agreement error, and “What i believe that co-education system works better” lacks a correct clause structure. “Moreover, Learning the programming in the university” is a fragment rather than a complete sentence. There are also recurring problems with articles, plurals, capitalization and punctuation, as in “the student himself” and the inconsistent capital letters after commas. Practise building complete sentences around one main idea, then check agreement, articles and sentence boundaries carefully.
