Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, education plays a significant role in the development of students. In many parts of globe both boys and girls are gain education together in unisex schools. It is often argued that it is more advantageous for boys and girls to learn seperately from single-sex schools. I partially agree with this view because mixed schools become them more socially while seperated schools enhace their confidence.
To begin with, the reason behind that students learn from co-educational schools is that it brings lot of confidence among students. To explain it, students interact with each other during class activities and they become more confident to express their opinion in class. For instance, during project presentation they often share their thought with each others and become more freely and confident while speaking socially. As a result, they feel less hesitant while speaking in front of opposite gender and become more confident to sharing their thoughts. Another benefit of studying in mixed schools is that increase gender equality and mutual respect. It means, study in same school help them to know more about each other and they start to respect each other by communicating daily and gender equality grown up by daily base interaction. Consequently, they start equally treating each other and reduce gender discrimination in society.
On the other hand, study in different schools offers more concentration on their study. Students may face fewer social distractions. They can focus more on their academic acitivites without distracted. Due to this, they perform good in academic and improve their overall performance. Furthermore, another benefit is that they feel more comfortable in schools. It means, some students feel shy to speak in front of other gender people and cannot prove their points clearly, while unisex schools give them chance to feel freely and comfortable during study. Cosequently, they may participate more actively during class discussions.
To conclude, I partially agree that students study in mixed schools because it make them more socially active and promote gender equality while, seperated schools improve their academic performace and give chance to study more comfortabely.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you partially agree, and you discuss benefits of both mixed and single-sex schooling. The points about confidence and gender equality address the mixed-school side, while concentration and comfort cover the case for separate schools. Examples such as students sharing ideas during presentations help make the discussion relevant. However, some claims are asserted rather than fully explained: for example, the link between daily interaction and reduced discrimination could be developed with a clearer explanation or a specific example. The academic-performance point is also brief. To strengthen the response, explain how each benefit affects students and connect the supporting examples more directly to your overall position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two sides, and a conclusion that returns to your partial agreement. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “To conclude” make the progression easy to follow. This gives the response a coherent arrangement, though some linking is mechanical and a few connections are unclear. For instance, “As a result” introduces a point that largely repeats the preceding claim about confidence, while “It means” is used repeatedly to introduce explanations. The conclusion’s “while” also joins contrasting ideas awkwardly. Use a wider range of natural transitions and make each sentence add a distinct step to the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “gender equality,” “mutual respect,” “social distractions,” and “class discussions.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the issue beyond very basic terms. However, noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors reduce precision, as in “seperately,” “enhace,” “become them more socially,” and “perform good in academic.” Some expressions are also repeated, particularly “confident” and “benefit.” Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise phrasing would make your ideas easier to understand and help you express distinctions between social development, comfort, and academic focus.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “while,” and “without,” and the overall meaning is generally understandable. However, errors in sentence structure and grammatical forms are frequent enough to make some sentences awkward or unclear. Examples include “both boys and girls are gain education together,” “it brings lot of confidence,” and “they become more freely and confident.” There are also problems with agreement and sentence construction, such as “study in same school help them” and “gender equality grown up.” Practise forming complete clauses, matching subjects and verbs, and using articles and verb forms consistently. Editing each sentence for these points would improve accuracy.
