Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram illustrates the process of canning of fishes from their catching and fishing to their distribution.

Overall, the process of canning of fish consists of fifteen stages, starting with catching or fishing and ending with the delivery to the market for selling. Throughout the process, the fishes are collected, sorted, cleaned and dispatched before the cooking.

Initially, catching or fishing by humans, then freezing and storing with a truck to the plant. Then unloading and weighing. After that, thawing of fishes because of their cold temperature. Moreover, cleaned and sorting. Then the fish is cut into big pieces, steam cooking and cooling. After that, the unnecessary bones are removed and the fish is cut into small pieces. Then the process of canning takes place, in which brine, water or oil is added. Next, the cans are sealed, sterilized by heating, stamped or labelled, stored and finally dispatched to supermarkets for selling.
