The line graph below shows past and current overweight rates, as well as a projected future overweight rate in nine selected countries.

Summarise the infonnation by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The line graph demonstrate the overweight rates of past and predictions of future between nine different developed countries.

Overall, USA rose dramatically after enduring a dump of nearly a decade, followed by England and Australia. Korea fluctuated the least through out the period, whereas, Austria and italy remains the modest.

At the first decade USA decreased approximately 9%, however, later it surreally upwards from nearly 42% to almost 75%, which remains unbreakable among all 9 countries, Followed by England which accounts nearly 69% heavy weight individuals by the end of the period. Meanwhile, in 1990s Australia dramatically surpassed Austria,Spain and canada, climbing to round about 64% in year 2020.

It was tough and complex for korea to obtain overweight person, however, after struggling hard, it just accounts almost 34%. Furthermore , Italy and Austria both remains modest for almost two decades, in contrast struggling hard, finally before the begining 2010 , both jump to around 45%, just a move of almost 8% from begining.
