Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response covers all parts of the task by reporting the main features and making relevant comparisons across the countries. You successfully identified key extremes, such as the highest rates in the USA and the lowest in Korea, and provided an overview. However, there are some minor data inaccuracies regarding specific years and percentages; for instance, the USA rate starts around 45% in 1972 rather than 1980, and some end years differ slightly from the visual data. Nevertheless, the main trends are adequately captured and supported with relevant figures.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The response is logically organized with a clear overall progression. It begins with an introduction, groups countries into logical categories in the body paragraphs (e.g., grouping England, France, Australia, and Korea), and concludes with a clear overview. Cohesive devices such as 'In terms of', 'Whereas', and 'Lastly' are used to connect ideas effectively, although paragraphing could be slightly more balanced and referencing is occasionally a bit mechanical.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using appropriate terms such as 'trends', 'proportion', 'statistics', and 'linearly increase'. However, there are several spelling errors throughout the text (e.g., 'overwheight', 'propotion', 'ocassional', 'Itlay', 'spanish', 'Autralia', 'repectively', 'steepestt') and some minor word choice issues. These errors do not impede communication, but they prevent the score from reaching a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing structures like 'While for Italians the data is given...' and 'All countries see a linear increase...'. There are frequent grammatical errors and awkward phrasings, such as 'The statistics for spanish start around' and 'The datasets given from 1995 and 1990 repectively till 2019'. Punctuation and article usage also need attention, but the errors rarely impede overall comprehension.
