The line graph below shows past and current overweight rates, as well as a projected future overweight rate in nine selected countries.
Summarise the infonnation by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)
The line graph illustrate the percentage of overweight with projected future overweight rate in nine selected countries from 1970 to 2020.
Overall, the USA had the largest overweight percentage whereas the Korea had the lowest percentage in 50 years of span. In addition, the proportion of the Australia increased sharply over the period.
In 1970, the USA had nearly 45% overweight rates which increased by every decades and expected to reached its peak around 75% by 2020. England became second country to have highest proportion of overweight. Meanwhile Canada, Spain, Austria showed fluctuation in between and got overtaken by Australia and is expected to become third largest countries.
While the Italy, France and Korea experienced least growth over the period. Korea will become the country with least percentage of overweight by the end of fifth decades. All the countries experienced growth.
