Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response is severely incomplete and cuts off mid-sentence, containing only 110 words, which fails the minimum 150-word requirement. Furthermore, the draft includes unfulfilled template placeholders such as '[NUMBER]' and '[CATEGORY 4]'. While the student attempts to introduce the chart and provide some data points for the USA and England, the lack of completion, undeveloped overview, and unfinished body paragraphs prevent any thorough coverage of the prompt's requirements. Consequently, the task achievement is strictly limited.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The text begins with standard introductory cohesion ('Looking first at', 'Meanwhile'), but the organization breaks down completely in the second half due to unfinished sentences and placeholder tags. Paragraphing is attempted, but the text is far too short and disjointed to demonstrate clear logical progression or effective overall cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
The student attempts some suitable vocabulary related to trends, such as 'increased dramatically' and 'climbed'. However, the range of vocabulary is extremely limited due to the short length of the text, and the presence of raw structural placeholders heavily impedes lexical performance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The student demonstrates basic control over simple past and present structures in the opening sentences (e.g., 'the figure stood at 45% in year 1970'). However, there are noticeable grammatical errors such as 'It then fall' (instead of fell) and missing prepositions ('Turning to canada the figure was initially'). The presence of incomplete sentences and template fragments restricts the assessment of grammatical range.
