The line graph below shows past and current overweight rates, as well as a projected future overweight rate in nine selected countries.

Summarise the infonnation by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The linear graph illustrates the proportion of obese people of nine selected nations over the period in 1970 and also the projected future in 2020 .

Overall, the graph shows an upward trend ,USA had drastically increased in 1980 and it will expected to grow till 2020.The least growth in proportion overweight people had seen in Austria ,but it might increase in upcoming years.

In 1970, USA had a decline of nearly 3% ,but the population had climbed frim 1980 to 2010,and expected to reach above 70% till 2020. In the mid of 1980,Spain had nearly 42% and rose steadily till 2000, after a minor drop it expected to reach more than 50% .

Meanwhile in 1990 ,England stood for around 48% and France accounted for 30% ,but after some fluctuations it reached more than 60% and 40% in coming years .In contrast, in the mid of 1990, canada and Italy had a round 50% obese population and also expected to grew till 2020, Whereas Austria remained stagnant till 2000 and steadily increase its proportion to nearly 45% in mid of 2000 ,and it will projected to grow in future as well.
