IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The line graph below shows past and current overweight rates, as well as a projected future overweight rate in nine selected countries.

Summarise the infonnation by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Past and projected future overweight rates in selected OECD countries

Student answer (Band 4.0)

This diagram show the difference between the overweight rates of different OECD countries was in 19s and in 20s.

In a diagram you can clearly sees the USA having high proportion overweight while Korea have less proportion overweight amoung the other countries.

In 19th century the rate are low while whenever the years extended the prices get become very high and rates updated, so its the main cause of overweight prices. The country which one having less proportion overweight is korea, while the usa having high proportion weight, in USA. The country dates comes in 2nd number having less proportion overweight is England.

The other countries having different percentages like Canada, Spain, Austria, Itlay, Australia and France. But in my prospective Korea having less proportion overweight because they have less population in country. And similarly USA having high proportion overweight because because the more population they have.

The proportion overweight is gradually increasing by the passage of time. The countries head should be think about it and make a plans how to control it or minimize it.
