Student answer (Band 5.0)

The line graph illustrates the proportions of the overweight rate in the OECD countries within the given time period of 50 years from 1970 to 2020.

In the begining USA had 45% overweight rate and then it slightly decrease of 42% in 1980, however with the passage of time the rate rose on 75% in 2020. Therefore, Korea had lower increase in rates from 25% to 35% from 2000 to 2020. Similarly, England rates had steadily gain 45% in 1985 and rose on 70% in 2020. Although the rates of australia was steadily rose from 30% in 1985 to 65% in 2020.

The overweight rates of the Canada is so volatile for instance 50% in 1995 then slightly decrease of 3% and then lower increase of 8% in 2020. Moreover, the hike of the rates in France was 30% in 1990 while it jumps upto 45% in 2020. In Addition the overweight rates in Austria and Italy had start in different years such as Austria had 39% in 1980 while Italy had 36% in 1995 but they rose equally at 45% in 2020 even though Spain had on 42% in 1985 then market goes down in 2004 and then a significant increase of 55% in 2020.

To conclude, during this given period of time market was rapidly volatile on contrary Korea had lower rates then any other countries.
