The line chart illustrates the information about past and future overweight rates in different country named OECD countries.

Overall, the United States has reached the top than rest of all as it started from hardly 46% in 1970s, while in 1998, the Korea started from 25% and rose up to 35% only in 2000 which shows the least record in the line chart.

If we take a look to the rest of the countries so they all have been increased as the time passed, like Canada increased up to 55% dramatically in 2022 and England went till70% in 2020 and Italy reached 45% in the year 2019 and Spain rose to 50 and Italy rose up to 45 almost and France went till 43% in 2020. these all countries shows the record of OECD countries and as the time passed the record has been mentioned and the things have changed over the passed year additionally.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

The response addresses the task only partially, presenting a rudimentary overview of the data but failing to provide a fully developed or accurate summary. While the student attempts to highlight some main features, such as the highest and lowest starting points, the information reported is often imprecise and incomplete. For instance, the reference to 'different country named OECD countries' demonstrates a misunderstanding of the graph's subject, as OECD is an organisation rather than a single nation. Furthermore, several figures are misread or vague, such as claiming Canada increased dramatically in 2022 or stating Spain rose to 50 without proper context. The response lacks a well-supported overview and misses critical comparisons across the nine countries, keeping the score at this limited level.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is some basic organisation in the text, but it lacks a clear overall progression. The response is divided into a short introduction and two lengthy, run-on paragraphs that bundle multiple disconnected countries and data points together. Cohesive devices are either missing, inadequate, or repetitive, such as the excessive use of conjunctions like 'and' ('and England went till70%', 'and Italy reached', 'and Spain rose') and the clunky transition 'If we take a look to the rest of the countries so they all have been increased'. Paragraphing is not used effectively to structure the comparison of trends, causing the ideas to feel jumbled and difficult to follow logically throughout.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The student attempts some less common terms and numeric data descriptions, but noticeable errors in word choice and expression cause some difficulty for the reader. Phrases like 'reached the top than rest of all', 'least record', and 'the things have changed over the passed year additionally' show a lack of precision and awkward collocation. There are also vocabulary errors such as spelling 'passed' instead of 'past', and a general reliance on basic, repetitive verbs like 'started', 'rose', and 'went' rather than precise vocabulary suited for reporting graphical data.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The student uses a very limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences joined by coordinating conjunctions. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, leading to grammatically confused structures such as 'Overall, the United States has reached the top than rest of all as it started from hardly 46% in 1970s'. Frequent errors occur in tense selection, prepositions, articles, and punctuation, including missing articles ('in Korea started', 'in line chart'), incorrect prepositions ('take a look to'), and missing spaces or punctuation before numbers ('till70%'). These persistent grammatical errors cause noticeable difficulty and strain for the reader.
