The line graph compares past and current overweight rates, as well as a projected future overweight rate in nine selected countries. These contries are USA, England, spain, Austria, Italy Canada, France, Korea and Spain. The conduction starts at different times.

To begin with the highest overweight proportion which is accounted in USA about 45% in 1970 and it starts increasing gradually with the rate of 5% per year and end at 75% in 2020 which is highest in this line graph. The second increasing proportion is England which is conducted in 1980 and at that time it is 48% and then it starts increasing and reached to 70% in 2020 whereas it has the same way of increasing as like USA.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify the chart’s general subject and give an overview that the USA is highest and Korea lowest, which are relevant main features. However, the response only partially reports the data and includes several important inaccuracies: the USA begins at about 45% in 1972, not 1970, and rises to roughly 74% by 2020, but the claimed increase of 5% per year is unsupported. England’s series begins around 1991, not 1980, and Canada and Spain do not both show an overall decline; both finish higher than their earlier figures. The country list also repeats Spain and omits Australia. To improve, select the main trends across more of the nine countries and compare their approximate starting and ending levels accurately.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction and overview are followed by descriptions of selected countries. Linking phrases such as “Overall” and “To begin with” help signal the stages of the report. However, progression is uneven because the body moves from the USA and England to Canada, Spain and Korea, leaving several countries unaddressed without a clear grouping principle. Some connections are also difficult to follow, particularly “then the come almost at same rate” and the repeated “almost equal to each other.” Organise the body into clear comparisons, such as the highest and middle-rate countries followed by the lower-rate countries, and use precise references to show which lines or figures are being compared.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant chart vocabulary, including “overweight rates,” “proportion,” “increasing,” and “gradually,” so the topic is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, such as “the conduction starts,” “which is conducted in 1980,” and “the Canada and Spain which generates.” These expressions make the data description less clear. There are also spelling and form errors, including “contries,” “comparision,” “insrease,” and “porportion.” Use standard reporting language for charts, such as “the figure stood at,” “rose to,” and “was projected to reach,” and check country names and spelling carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the overall meaning can usually be followed. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, tense and punctuation sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “There increasing overweight rates in USA” lacks a correctly formed verb, while “the Korea starts from 2000 have only 25%” combines incompatible verb forms. The sentence beginning “The canada and spain” also lacks a clear grammatical structure, and several sentences run together without spaces after full stops. Practise forming complete clauses with consistent past and future forms, and use shorter sentences when comparing several figures.
