Student answer (Band 5.5)
The man has undergoes many changes from a time when people had to belive on the inreality based threats such as they were threaten from number 13,black cat and broken mirror to the time when we understand their is a reason behind every happening this is due to science. The main point of view of science should be to better the people's life style.I totally agree with this statement.Below i discuss in detail,
First of all,The science is started to interfare in the personal lives of people that is totally wrong.Every sigle person have a right to have a privacy. The most latest invention named as Artificial intelligence help the people but also leak their personal informations. In the wars it is also a very helpfull.I belive the Wars are the most vulgur way of killing peoples. The atom bomb and latest weapon technology is with the help of science. So,I think instead doing negative inventions they have to work on the people,s advantages. For exampe the prices of petrol are rising day by day in all counteris they have to produce the car on run the water or solar system. They intoduce the cars on the charging that is a excellent success of science.
Second perspective is that deseases are continously rising in all around the world due unhygenic food eating. The cancer and Aids or more other which have no permanent solution they have to work on these deseases and introduce helpfull medicines who's realy work.
At the end my point of view is that intead of interfaring in the personal lives of people science has to work on people help.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that science should improve people’s lives, and you give relevant examples involving privacy, weapons, cleaner transport and disease treatment. These examples show an attempt to explain why science should prioritise human benefit. However, the response addresses the question only partially because several points are asserted rather than developed. For instance, the discussion of AI privacy and weapons does not explain how these concerns relate to the main aim of science, and the proposed water- or solar-powered cars are not explored. The final paragraph repeats your position but adds little synthesis. To strengthen the response, explain each example’s impact and connect it explicitly to your view of science’s priorities.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First of all,” “Second perspective” and “At the end” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several different ideas are joined together without clear explanation. The first body paragraph moves from privacy to war, then petrol prices and electric cars, so the relationship between these examples is not always clear. Some linking expressions also sound mechanical, and the conclusion largely repeats the introduction. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, use clearer links between claims and examples, and make the conclusion briefly summarise the argument rather than restating it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “Artificial intelligence,” “personal information,” “weapon technology,” “solar system” and “permanent solution.” This gives you some means of discussing science and its effects. However, the range is limited and many word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “inreality based threats,” “interfare in the personal lives,” and “deseases are continously rising.” Some expressions are also imprecise: “run the water” does not clearly describe the proposed vehicle, while “excellent success” is an unnatural collocation. Build a more accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling and common word partnerships; precise phrasing will make your ideas easier to follow.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the response communicates a general position. However, the range of structures is limited, and attempts to combine several clauses are often faulty, so the reader sometimes has to work to identify the intended meaning. Examples include “The man has undergoes many changes,” “Every sigle person have a right,” and “The cancer and Aids or more other which have no permanent solution.” There are also recurring problems with verb forms, subject–verb agreement, articles and sentence boundaries. For example, the opening sentence runs on through several ideas without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement and verb forms.
