Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is argued that one of the main objectives of scientific discoveries is for the human benefit. I completely agree, with this view because scientific research has proved it by serving humanity and the living standards of entire world have improved.
One of the primary reasons is that research has been used to serve humans. This means that when any innovation or scientific research are made by scientists or common man, from the time of stone- age to till 21st century, this has saved the lives of millions.Therfore, people has become healthy both phsically and mentally. For instance, covid-19 vaccines, saved the lives of millions of people by inventing medice for it and successfully came out people from the effects of pendimic. Hence, scientific discoveries have consistently demonstrated this that every finding is for the people's life.
Another most crucial evidance can be seen by thoroghly watching the living standards of the people in every sector. That is to say, people are getting more advanced in education, technology, health, social-status, by using various appliances, equipment and modern vehicles. Therefore, these invention not only changed the standard of living of people, but also changed the way of thinking.
To conclude, the main focus of innovation, scientific advances is to serve humanity by getting rid of all the diseases and pendimics that human have been facing time to time, but also changed the entire world by providing them facilities.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of science improving lives. However, the essay is under the 250-word minimum, which limits the depth of the arguments. While the ideas are relevant, they are somewhat repetitive and lack detailed exploration. For example, the mention of 'stone-age to 21st century' is a broad generalization that lacks specific supporting evidence. The conclusion is also quite brief. To improve, you should expand on your examples and ensure you meet the minimum word count to allow for a more thorough development of your ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'For instance', 'Hence', and 'To conclude' to link your thoughts. However, some transitions feel mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'scientific discoveries have consistently demonstrated this that every finding is for the people's life.' Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their antecedents would help the flow of the essay significantly.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'scientific discoveries', 'innovation', and 'living standards'. However, there are several spelling errors ('Therfore', 'phsically', 'medice', 'pendimic', 'evidance', 'thoroghly') and some awkward word choices, such as 'common man' and 'came out people from the effects'. These errors occasionally distract the reader. To reach a higher band, focus on accurate spelling and using more precise collocations to express your ideas more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('research are made', 'people has become') and incorrect article usage. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma placement. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to lower the score. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and ensuring that your complex sentences are constructed correctly.
