Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 202 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas, as the conclusion is incomplete and the arguments remain underdeveloped. While you address the prompt by discussing healthcare, education, and industry, the lack of depth and the abrupt ending prevent a full exploration of the topic. To improve, you must ensure you provide a clear, sustained position throughout and fully develop your supporting points with specific examples, ensuring the essay reaches the required length to allow for a comprehensive response.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay has a basic structure with an introduction and body paragraphs, but the lack of a proper conclusion disrupts the overall flow. You use some cohesive devices like 'The most important one' and 'The next crucial achievement', but these are somewhat repetitive and mechanical. Paragraphing is attempted, but the transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt. To achieve a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and phrases to connect your ideas more fluidly and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that relates back to your main argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'relay on' (rely on), 'make significance' (are significant), and 'secnario' (scenario). You rely on common, simple vocabulary throughout. To improve, try to incorporate more academic collocations and topic-specific terminology. For example, instead of 'make complex material', you could use 'manufacture intricate products'. Focusing on accurate spelling and more sophisticated word choices will help elevate your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally hinder clarity. Examples include 'health facilities are depend to' (depend on), 'learners able to learn' (are able to learn), and 'factories used to make... use heavy machines' (which use). Subject-verb agreement and preposition usage are inconsistent. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents a higher score. Focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like missing auxiliary verbs and incorrect verb forms.
