In this modern era, science has a goal of improving people's lives. I deeply agree with this because science has a astonishing role in medical and technological development which made our life a quite easier then before.

To begin with, science has a huge impact in medical advancement, previously most of the peoples were died in dangerous disease such as plague and it was the only disease which cost around 2 millions of life in past, later scientists invented the solution that saved many lives. Now scientists are also finding solutions to make a treatment for cancer and it can save millions of lives from the deaths.

One possible impact has in technology section, peoples from rural areas can also have a benefit from internet. They can attend classes from well-known professors and improve their knowledge in any subject. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The ideas are relevant, focusing on medical, technological, and environmental advancements. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the discussion on the plague and cancer is quite brief and lacks depth. While the essay covers all parts of the task, the supporting arguments could be more thoroughly extended to reach a higher band. The conclusion effectively summarizes the main points, reinforcing the student's stance on the importance of science in improving human life.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each focusing on a distinct theme. Cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Another possible advantage', and 'Moreover' are used to guide the reader through the arguments. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions feel repetitive. Referencing is generally clear, though the connection between the introduction and the body paragraphs could be smoother. Overall, the information is arranged coherently, and the progression of ideas is easy to follow throughout the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the student to convey their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary such as 'medical advancement', 'renewable energy', and 'fossil fuel'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'science has a astonishing role' (should be 'an') and 'most of the peoples were died' (should be 'people died'). The range is sufficient for the task, but more sophisticated or precise vocabulary would be needed to reach a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement and pluralization (e.g., 'peoples', '2 millions of life'). There are also issues with article usage and verb tense consistency, such as 'it was the only disease which cost around 2 millions of life'. These errors do not impede communication, but they are noticeable throughout the text. A greater focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy would be beneficial.
